Chrome users do. Apple users probably do as well. If you haven't learned by now that there's more to selling software than quality and functionality then you probably own an Apple. They've been successfully selling software because it's trendy for years.
TLD can be downloaded for testing in a chosen application. We provide a precompiled demo (Windows) and a source code that is released under GPL version 3.0. In short, it means that any distributed project that includes or links any portion of TLD source code has to be released with the source code under the GPL version 3.0 license or later.
Commercial Version
A license has to be purchased for using TLD in a commercial project. The licencing is managed by the IP owner, the University of Surrey and the fee is subject to negotiation. Please contact the University of Surrey for further information.

Can't believe I agree with them, but here's to hoping they're right. The music industry is the worst thing to happen to music since... well.. ever.
I've boycotted companies before. I participated in the Microsoft boycott for several years in the 90's for example. Now days I use Microsoft products all the time. It, like almost all boycotts, was completely ineffective. I doubt any executives at microsoft were even aware it was going on save for the boycott site's features like the "whole Microsoft catalog" that exposed some of the horrible things MS was into at the time. The boycott its-self, though - complete waste of time other than to make the people participating feel a little better about themselves.
Boycotts just don't work except in extremely rare circumstances in my experience as a human.
I guess I'm the minority, but I like the straight number version system opposed to things based on date or quarter like some others use. v94 doesn't bother me at all, and neither would v765. It's simple, easy to understand, and can go on forever without a "reset" or change to the version system.
Boycotts almost never work. Unless perhaps every single person everywhere participated all at once and sales stayed absolutely at zero for a while (not effing likely). Great principle but they would just attribute the loss of sales to other reasons most likely and never "get it".
There should be some sort of investigation done here, no reason a site like that should cost more than a few thousand a year to maintain. Maybe a few hundred thousand to buy servers initially (or not if they rent). Dedicated servers can be rented for a few hundred bucks a month - it's not like usaspending.gov is going to have as many simultaneous users as facebook or anything.
If the operators really are charging a cool 4 mill a year, then they deserve to get shut down.
I don't think Motorola should or will abandon android at this point, but given the constant legal trouble that android is having a backup is a smart move. What would moto do if all their eggs were in the Android basket and Android were to get shut down?
If I were a gambling man, my money would be on YES. IPV4 addresses will become increasingly expensive.
Perhaps isp's like shitcast will just create a big nat and buy a handful of ip's for all their customers. If the private nat is full, you'll just be SOL... much like their approach to bandwidth "management" today.
Don't read it, don't buy it, and for damn certain don't pay for online access to it. Good lord, read your news anywhere else; these guys are out of control.
Only until we repeal the bans on child labor and sweat shops for immigrants. Then we'll be right up there with the east again!
They taught people regret years ago when they started trampling on folks privacy. Why not spread the love to computers?
He's helping kids circumvent security systems at their school to access banned sites and doesn't understand why he's getting complaints?
Here's your sign...

Preferably they will just use milliseconds since epoch, for example 1302867763. That way there's never any confusion on the release order ;)

Amen.
The theme of this is exactly the same as it was with all the articles preceding quad core desktop cpu's. Nothing to see here folks, move along.

Why mess with what works?
Well stated!
You sure it's just the web page? My friends and I cannot login to PSN right now with our ps3's.
Cracker collective? Isn't that like the KKK?

Tiny "COOKIE" robots. It's hard to find good help these days :/
Other than you not liking microsoft, why is that a problem?

Yes, it's generally known as "The man". The man is always trying to bring a brother down.
That must be why Canadians don't save up to gtfo of Vancouver and vacation down here in the US... oh, wait....they do.
Dang!

ehrm, isn't the biggest producer of PC software (microshaft) also a producer of closed platforms with DRM (Windows)?
That word, I don't think it means what you think it means.
