    I've said for years and years and years, the main reason I don't use a Linux box as my main is because I can't play any games without messing with emulators or dual boot or some such, and quite frankly, I've never want to deal with it.
    However, if this goes over well, and developers/publishers start actually using it? I'll probably finally switch over to some form of Linux.
    I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this plays out.

    Hazarding a further guess at the density of 3 grams per cubic centimeter (solid rock), I calculate a size of about 3-4 meters, or about the size of a minivan.

    ...since when has a minivan been considered "big" when we're talking about something from space?

    it could be a positive signal that Apple might be willing to license the patents under Tim Cook, versus fight it out in court under the late Steve Jobs.

    Or it could be a sign that Apple realized they're fighting a losing battle so they're trying to salvage what little they can keep.

    That's usually how votes go unless I'm mistaken.
    You don't go into a meeting to vote with a blank mind, you tend to already have your decision ready and thought out.

    There is no Linux version! And you know why?

    Yes, yes I do. Because in order for a linux version to be worth the time to code, you'd need a decent library of games that actually run on linux.
    Not to mention there's several different operating systems that fall under the brand of "linux".
    It's a coding nightmare, and most companies don't want to take such a massive amount of time for a minority.

    We don't know the antivirus group inside Apple.

    Apple is to arrogant to admit they have any flaws, so odds are there isn't one.
    Just like with the iPhone 4 antenna, they'd rather take bad PR and have their users suffer than admit there's an issue.

    Awhile back, I went around town trying to find a PCI wireless NIC card.
    I went to radio shack and bewildered their employees, as if I was speaking some foreign language.
    I went to Best Buy and they told me I didn't need that silly thing, and tried to sell me this shitty looking USB adapter.
    Finally, I found what I was looking for at Fry's, and the employees there weren't huge dicks/morons.
    Guess which store got my business?

    I think i've only seen one profile that at least /attempted/ to hide the fact they were spamming.
    It collected random tweets throughout the public timeline and filled 4 or 5 of them between each spam @reply link.
    Though, they were still sending out maybe 1000 messages an hour, so that shouldn't be too hard to detect.
