    Oops thanks for the correction.

The point of my post was that his statement about the backpack not being searchable, is not cut and dry.

But then again there are some of us. Who have bought about 6 different distros on $2 dollar cds. Do those count?

  4. It's called a jerry stop on Danger in the Big Blue Room · · Score: 1

The writer of the article was hit up with a jerry stop. It's completely legal, and yes if they can prove reasonable suspicion, they can search your back pack.

"I left my nades at home" is probable good enough.

Contact the Philiadelphia police department, find out the oficial reason for the arrest. I doubt it was the acid.

Any how these stories crack me up. How are they tech news? Slashdot is now a member of the the far left, congrats.

I think this would solve most of the current problems. Some people cry because RHAT is thought of as Linux. I can see a future problem with this if RHAT dominates the market completely they *will* act as M$ does, it's the way of the corporation.

Any ways back to my original comment if the Linux Standard Board had the Linux Trademark then distro would pretty much have to bow to thier wishes, or become marginalized in sales.

Maybe it's a bad idea, I haven't really thought about it till now. Of course it's up to one man, Linus Torvalds.

What I always hated about football is that your a pawn in the coaches hands, practically everything you do is dictated by the coach. Give me a sport with more freedom. I hear you on beating the crap out of stranger tho thats one of the reasons I like hockey so much.
