Mod parent up. I don't agree with kernel 3.0 and Gnome 3 with Linus, but he deserves my time and respect. That goes for everyone who works with or uses Linux.
Since the difference between them is even more now, each will bring in users that fit the workflow that it operates. A KDE user doesn't use KDE because he likes the K, he uses it because it fits the way he works. This argument doesn't have any meaning in the real world. Now if we were to ask what could one project learn from another, that would be a much more productive discussion.
I'm nowhere as qualified as everyone here, but Nvidia seems to be pushing more for the pararell supercomuting with rows of Tegra chips working in unision. They had talked about supercomputing when the Tegra 3 was announced.
...and it's features to the non-Pro. I'm not going to pay for a 13" with a 1200x800 screen when it costs me any more than $1000. This one doesn't even have switchable graphics.
I believe they are stating that games that play on 1920x1080 on the PS3 should be able to play at the NGP's lower resolution screen, at the same graphical settings or at least close to what the PS3 has.
Same here, I have an Acer 1410 (1810T), and everything works. I also have read that HP dm1zs run pretty good.
You would be correct until now, but reports indicate that next year AMD will move all of it's processors to it's new FM2 chipset.
Speculation is that Radeon RAM is just rebranded.

Uh, what? This is based off the old K10.5 core. No Bobcat here. All those APUs are known as E-XXX and C-XX.

So we're going to see a mix of Steam and OnLive?

It combines them.

Agreed, I am now addicted.
Hey, wasn't it the DoD who said a while back that they are "the sigle largest customer base for Red Hat Enterprise Linux"? Props to them!
