It was just Metro and now the lack of media player outside ultimate, no gui with aero in desktop mode, and now this?! What the hell are they going to fuck uo next?

There are work arounds like win7start and the intel compilers and eclipse (sucks to use phenom), but buying a machine with win 7 instead is a lot less hassle.

XP was bashed here on slashdot for years and then came Vista. Now these same users who bashed it think XP is the next coming of christ and perfection at its core and refuse to leave the 11 year old platform. Now we are being transformed into cutting enthusiasts to luddites we cant stand. Amazing what a bad OS can do.

Symantic endpoint is very decent compared to its past versions. The newest Norton according to reviews is as lite as Commodo, Avast, and MSE, and its virus detection rate is one of the best! I was shocked, but I do not feel comfortable using it yet.

MSE has gone downhill and I read many using Symantic were able to find the infections. Symantic endpoint is really Norton with a different lablel and I am glad they re-engineered.

One of the most frustrating things about corporate America today is they are penny wise and dollar dumb! Having computers that are offline 4 hours a day with +1000 employees cost $40,000 an hour of lost productivity! Add this up for several years of their outdated crappy XP and Endpoint software and they skipped over that dollar to jump on the nickel of savings.

If they were not so dirt cheap and upgraded to iwndows 7, modern Endpoint/Comoddo Enterprise, and IE 9, with icore 3's to replace their aging Pentium 4s they could be a lot more productive. Computers from the 2002-2006 typically took 10 minutes to be usable because of IE 6 add-ons for proxy, security, keystrock monitoring, and slow 20 gig hard drives, is madening. If anything it is a downgrade to the 1996 - 2001 systems with NT 4/Win 98 as they performed better.

Using hardware proxies and filtering can alieve this load as well.

Software has improved and even IE 9 is snappy. These idiots need to upgrade and get with the times. If you were the CEO of FedEX would you use delivery vans that broke every week?

They would be a wall mount plasma for their wow habbits until their elderly parents threatened to kick their ass to the curb if they did not unplug the ethernet and go get a fucking job!

This was not all of them but a sizable chunk. I have seen divorces of other players, people fired from work because they come in with very few hours of sleep. An my ex used it to escape her hectic financial and work stress. I made her not stay up late raiding so she could catch employers quicker etc.

She is in a new healthy relationship after going cold turkey. So good for her! I am irritated as I wanted her to do that with me, but oh well time to move on I guess.

That is what the article is about. Taking responsibility is very hard when you are depressed and not used to a routine of waking up early and working super hard every day. Laws of nature are math. Plain and simple and should not be patentable PERIOD. Infact a process is math where you do this, then, do that. It doesn't matter where its performed. Just because a computer does it doesn't make it patentable and no longer laws of nature or math. If laws of nature are ruled unpatentable then most of these patents need to be thrown out! A process can not be patentable therefore they need to be thrown out as well.

The arts are refering to blue prints for industrial designs. Not expressions as is the common definition of arts today. I can make a patent for anything and just say "Used in a tablet/computer .." otherwise and get away with patenting math or any other law of nature. That is sneaky and I should not be able to get a patent on anything that would be impossible if it were not at work or in a computer then its patentable.

I doubt a process is considered an arts in design at all. You can't own something that is not real or already exists. A blueprint on the otherhand is a design to an invention in contrast and yes that is man made and real.

Expressions and laws of nature/math, or anything else like a series of steps are not real and therefore not patentable.
