  1. Don't take them.

2 months clean and part of my super negative thought cycles are now gone. They are somewhat back but manageable. SSRI s permanently change brain structure. They stop working after several years and can permanently ruin your sex drive the longer you are on them.

SSRIs work for just several months repairing damage but can cause other damage

  2. For me with ADHD it made things worse.

I almost was fired as I didn't even care if I was late for work. I had to stop taking them as a result. It makes sense as if I feel fine why bother with work and self improvement?

  3. Oddly for me a half child's dose helped as I rested more at night with REM. I finally had the energy during the day

  4. Well from personal experience I backup grandparent. Yes myself is not valid scientific B's yada yada.

I got fired from a job the first time I tried SSRIs when I was younger. I came in late and knew I was supposed to be at work but laid in bed going meh. I was mad at myself for years thinking I was immature and deserved it in which I did.

I never got connection. I tried SSRIs again recently. Low and behold within a few days I quit studying for my certifications, my apartment became messy, and had a verbal warning about coming into work on time. I even stopped watching TV and just slept in all weekend all in peace. I stopped them with all the brain zaps and shocks that come from stopping all of the sudden. I had to be responsible.

Within 48 hours I was back to normal. Who cares about rats speeds? The real effects are like going hungry. Serotonin and dopamine are linked to rewards. If you always feel full the urge to eat goes down. The brain has enough neurotransmitters it won't go thru the effort for work or pleasure

Lo and behold I have seen AV software that replaces SSL certificates with their own enabling mITM attacks via superfish Lenovo style and heard about Trend Micro not only being taken over by malware but rather malware reinstalling itself when you update trend micro! Basically the malware uses the AV to install itself and prevent itself from beinguninstalled. Perfect way to block competitors from adware companies too. The only solution from what I heard is a reimage as the AV software has super admin rights and embeds itself in the OS to prevent less successful malware from disabling it.

Who uses AV software in 2017? The only good I see is at work where an endpoint management solution can totally disable network ports and disable PCs off active directory when suspicious activity arises. Other than that it's useless

  12. In your dreams buddy.

Our senior citizens over 45 hate change and open tickets if they have to change their workflows in any way.

Worse, these melenials you speak of love the ribbons and flat UI of office and windows 10. The nested hell of menus of LibreOffice is like a Horror movie to them.

I used to use Linux as my main OS. It's not worth it for me or anyone who uses it for non servers. It's a VM to me as I had to keep using VMS last decade and dual boot to game. I got tired of it and Windows 7 was actually stable.

  13. If web based services are what most office staff and bureaucrats use all day long, then you only need a browser. And Linux runs a browser just as well as Windows. And ChromeOS, if you can call it Linux, runs a browser way better than a desktop. (but that's about all it does)
Office software on a desktop is still a little better than the web based options. There isn't a huge difference in terms of capabilities and usability between Office 16 and LibreOffice, but the compatibility between the two is quite poor so it's best to pick just one. Throwing data into a spreadsheet, making some graphs, and slides is pretty much a solved problem on Windows and Linux. Web based stuff is a few steps behind, I anticipate in 3-4 years that it will be to a point that my company can switch (10000+ employees)

When you get into content creation that you have to think carefully about what OS to us. Desktop publishing, graphic design, etc.

    Hi IT?

This is Mary from Finance. The CFO needs to submit data to our bank and Java 1.4 from 2002 is not working. It only works for this one. Worse, it keeps saying IE 7 not found? We need this done ASAP by COB as our loan is due and we can't use the security exploit in Java 1.4.2 to open Excel and create a dump of a CSV file for our records! We will be fined a fee?!

  16. ??

The stability of MS products most certainly improved in 17 years with Windows 10/server 2016 being the outliner due to having no QA team left.

You should fire your IT department. Who uses an unpatched and support d OS and a version of server that is not even 2 years old without a service pack yet?! Yikes. Also by not using server 2012R2 you are paying more $$$$ for cores as MS adopted Oracle style licensing recognizing cores as actual CPUs.

For your question of compability the reason is 64 bit Windows can not run 16 bit Software. Server 2008 R2 can. So it sounds like your It department needs to do their homework or hire someone like CDW to create a plan and setup an upgrade if your department needs more specialists in this area. This is all mcse exam material.

That's in all areas, If college graduate programmers are instead being paid a bit over $30k, then we're educating too many programmers, and there needs to be a labor shortage going forward to discourage employers from paying absolute shit to college graduates.

And $60k out of school sounds very reasonable for programmers. It's not an easy job, and it requires specialized knowledge. It should be paying more than the average starting salary.

Doesn't matter I can find someone in India to do it for $25k. It makes sense college grads to compete at that global wage. Sucks but without experience the guy from India is more qualified.

They had their own IT department. They trained their Indian counterparts because they were not qualified.

Sure they want infrastructure like a military. So qualified workers were there. They wanted to save money and raise the share price and didn't care or see the value in IT to justify the expense. So it serves Disney no purpose unless the CEO had smoke blown up his ass to justify the cost accountant who got his bonus for saving money.

  23. THe problem is 2fold.

They want to hire Americans, but not at current wages. WIth greater supply is less demand. A kid out of college earns around 10 - 20/hr with 15/hr being average for a college grad. Ridiculous but reality. Kids today want $60,000 a year writing code out of school???! I think they do not like this want new programmers to live at home with their parents for 5 to 10 years until 30 making $15/hr coding ideally.

This would raise the share prices and make IT more comeptitive with the other departments.

2nd my biology teacher had a saying. People know more about their freaking cars then their bodies. Students hated science but the same principle applies. COmputers are important in business and any kid should know how to use excel SUM and basic pivot tables.

  24. The problem is they do not want to pay for Obamacare and American wages either. Even if these kids could code Disney would only hire an Indian as they have shown outsourcing their whole IT department. Do not give me they couldn't find qualified applicants either since the workers had to train their counterparts who were not qualified.

VP of finance or accounting jackass could get his bonus. The CEO probably really believed he had no IT department before and had to outsource as he is removed at that level.

Or he did and this is a publicity stunt to make them look not so heartless about replacing Americans.
