In all honesty though, I really with it was more feasible for people to actually fight back against these large corporations. It's really a shame when all you need is money to hire lawyers and you can do anything.
I'm 14, so this comment is obviously a little biased. Anyway, a big problem for me has been that, for almost anything you'd want to do, there's a program that already exists that does it. I mean, back in the BASIC days, if you wanted to do anything useful, you had to do it yourself.
I suppose we need a 21st centery version of the John Peter Zenger case. Shame. And of course, also shows that perhaps judges should actually read the Constitution.
Then, I suppose it's a rather good thing that I'm not some l33t crazed idiot. Only l33t thing I do is some programming. Also, my parents have reason to do that anyway.
Thank you for your opinion.
Yeh. That wouldn't work for me. First, they'd need to find a Linux keylogger. Then install it across all of my operating systems, and virtual machines, without me noticing. Good luck with that. I'm 13 for any curious.
The politicians need to realize that, in this day and age, once a secret is out, it's out forever. Once the next Bradley Manning leaks some secrets, they're pretty much public. All Assange is doing is putting them in one place. I'm not saying leaking secrets is good. Some secrets should stay that way. But go after the people leaking them.
I speak only for myself, but considering they've killed OpenSolaris, done next to nothing with OpenOffice.org, and are suing Google for Java in Android, I hope they die a terrible, prolonged death!! But, that's just me.
As I've always thought, why don't we have people who know about the internet be in control of the internet.
To politicians, posting you latest campaign meeting on Facebook does not mean you know about the internet!
Perhaps, instead of worrying about teens playing video games, we should worry about those who watch FOX "News".
I don't know about a link between video games and violence, but there is a link between watching Fox News and being stupid.
Nothing is important enough that it takes priority over liberty and freedom of speech. Nothing.

Heck, American Senators don't listen to 95% of Americans.

Most seem happy enough.

Just adding in, that while yes, most children are stupid, their are many out there that are much more mature than most adults.
And of course you had to post that the same minute I did! Oh well!
This is rather reminding me of the book, "Flowers for Algernon". It didn't end very well.
I guess this is the end of subsidized Nexus phones, for GSM networks anyway. But really, now Sprint is the only non-evil carrier left!

Simple solution. "Teacher, I forgot my password. Sorry!".

Granted, a worm is much better than a foot.

While I applaud their efforts, the truth of it is that there's always another exploit to fix.
