I have got addicted to Xiaomi MIUI 10 gestures. I think they really got something right in their implementation. Drawn in the lower half of screen: full swipe left/right equals back button press, swipe up equals home, swipe up and stay in the middle brings up the recents menu, drawn in upper half of screen swipe left/right triggers app action. I hope these gestures become a standard so there are available on all handsets.
Either the port should be closed in the firewall or if needed should be left open like it was, using an IP whitelist (which could be implemented at the firewall). Rsync should have been set up to use authentication in any scenario.
Taco: Many, many thanks for investing all that love into this site which I discovered with great joy and happened to read every day since then. Let all the good karma you accumulated these years be with you and your family in whatever activity that you engage next....And who knows, maybe you come back more often than you think...
I don't think these published accounts are 'paid' accounts. There is no reason to think that they are.
Also pron.com does not require email confirmation to make an account: I just signed up with email address 'president@whitehouse.gov' and got immediately logged in to the site.
Good. Maybe someday I would be able to block experts-exchange on Firefox. In the meanwhile I maybe even try chrome just for the joy of getting rid of these guys...
"Under Google’s dual-class stock structure, the Class B shares owned by the founders and the chief executive have 10 votes for each share. Upon sale, they are converted to Class A shares with a single vote for each share. "
This comes in the same article you reference. Correct me if I am wrong, but apparently the sold shares end up losing a lot of voting power after they are transferred to non-founders.
Not that I wouldn't like that feature in my motherboard but I think motherboard manufacturers avoid placing a jumper with the function of enabling BIOS upgrades because they usually rush products to market with unfinished or half-done BIOSes and use to upgrade it later online via an autoupdate tool or tech support instructions. If jumper manipulation was required to flash the motherboard then a lot of non-technical users would be stuck with the faulty BIOSes.
I find it interesting that in all the information published Hans is never quoted trying to reach his 'fugitive' wife. Don't you think Hans should have been showing himself upset about Nina's 'hiding' somewhere and focus on that point in his defense?
Prohibit File Transfers over the internet. Yes, that would be the solution to the "Napster" problem and all the other forthcoming. In the meantime there should be a standarized "embedded file copyright gen". A transparent, persistent, file atribute that could be identified even after any non-lossy compression/encription process were applied to the original file. So there would be "detectors" on any ISP backbone, constantly checking and blocking transfers that contain copyrighted content. Also any software tool that has the capability to contact more than two people by a common denominator should be considered illegal and its creators prosecuted and all the software copies erased from all the media storage devices in the net. A good idea to begin this process is create a virus definition for the software (for example Napster) and pass it to the antivirus developers. (If you didn't realize i was being sarcastic) The internet will vanish "license" money making machines. Be prepared. Long live to the artists !!! Down to the merchants !!!

Try it.
I use it in windows and android. Nice design. Easy to use. Light.
Isn't it more like a service misconfiguration ?

There is no image for nexus 5 atm. Sad. Looks like the device finally got unsuported.

How about trolling the current patent system out of existence...

I'm pretty sure The Elders of the Internet gave one to him.

Who submitted this 'great' story for the day?. Kudos to her/him. I remember I was thinking about submitting it but then something happened...
Well I guess I will have better luck next time.
