not sure which games you are buying for 5-10 dollars... fallout 3 (4 yr old) is still 20 bucks... i could normally wait a month or two to buy top games for 60-70% off as used.
during college and some time after, used games was the only way i was able to buy a game. my other option was to not pay for it at all... Now i can and do fully support developers by buying games new... until i was forced to abandon gaming by origin and steam activation, now i support kickstarter drm free games.
"Everyone wins in the current system" for me, origin, steam, apple store... are not wins.
"And no, providing healthcare is not the government preserving life" i would have thought that more for "pursuit of happiness". can't really be happy if you are bankrupt because of health care costs... I am assuming you believe in paying for services you receive.
as you enjoy your 10 day a year vacation (if you get any), no sick days and no personal days. oh also we understand that it takes 20 minutes out of the hour of lunch break you may get ( sometimes half hour) so just grab that double whopper (made your way) and cram it down with the diet coke (healthy?) because we don;t want you to have to use your vacation days for when you are sick.
I don;t think "It's also a fee I've been paying (in the form of higher premiums)" insurance companies have been paying hospitals for people that they do not insure... "(in the emergency room, of all places)"... this is the reason so many hospitals were/are in the red.
though the second part is more true. Maybe they should have mandated regular checkups. You would think that insurance companies would want people to get regularly tested... but then it costs money that takes away from next quarter profits.
Personally I find the programming justifies the fee... I am entertained between HBO, Showtime, Movie channel, MAX and ondemand TV/movies. Plus internet and phone... i pay 145 dollars a month... well worth it.
my point was, considering how many times I have misspelled goole.com (google.com, i actually misspelled it so left it alone as an example;) ) what are the chances of me typing correctly google.google.google:)

hmmm... if only i had some way to shop/sell from/to EU without having to travel there...
next time i buy a ticket to watch a game... i will keep that in mind!!
