You would think that insurance companies would be begging if not bribing people to loose weight. I have several friends who have tried to get insurance to help pay for their weight loss surgery to no avail. One is over 200# above his healthy BMI. The cost savings of that surgery should be obvious.
Can anyone explain why they won't help out?
1. Make crappy "music"
2. Struggle to get famous (I've never heard of the guy until TMZ picked up his stupid comment)
3. Get famous for neglecting science and getting into a "battle" with someone who really is famous.
4. You become Infamous which to some is as cool as being famous.
Why do so many people get famous for being stupid these days?
It is interesting how lots of people want something, they want it built to last but all people sell is cheap garbage. This is the geek version of the Mom's who can't find clothes for their kids at Target. Lots of people want it, but manufacturers don't make what we want.
Can anyone explain why? Isn't there a market for high quality things?
1. Will you still be drving drunk if you have your autonomous car drive you home after a night of drinking?
2. What if you are driving link and ass and rear-end someone, will they be able to use that data against you? What if both people are at fault?
3. Who's going to absorb the liability for these cars when something unexpected breaks? The large automotives are going to drag their feet for years on self-driving cars. Their will need to be a lot of testing in real life before they mass produce any cars.
Um, shopping mall shootings? I think they have them in Africa in an Islamic country even, by Islamists doing the work of god.
Also, in most of those countries the men are armed. Not disarmed by our government that can't trust us to protect ourselves.
I must be 3 or more of those people, I have a G-mail account for each Android device (tablet is multi-user, 1 phone is strictly for work and 1 phone is for private texts from my wife). As I recently changed services I noticed that I somehow became a G+ member just by signing up a new device. Can I really be counted as I don't participate?
Aren't there health hazards associated with datacenters? The one I used to sit in was closed because of both the sound level being too high to not cause hearing loss after a few weeks working there and someone told me the "radiation" in the room was pretty high. I know that the electromagnetic noise was high because cell/pager signals were always garbled.

I think this is a calculated ploy by Apple to gander pity after all the bad press at the Billions of $$ that they have hiding from US tax collectors.
