You can research all you want but eventually you have to produce, and producing a technology that will only serve a few would hardly be productive in the large scale. When this will be useful for us, the average people? We are still struggling with pityful, expensive "broadband". They can play all they want trying to make things faster, so call me when they make what we already have cheaper and efficient.
This may be offtopic, but I dont receive cable tv because I live on a rural area, too far away and not worth the effort for they to deploy cable, Ive heard. I have to get a satellite dish to receive channels, so the idea of getting a satellite internet access isnt so farfetched for me either, for the same reasons.
