NASA endangered the astronauts' life by hooking their critical systems up to a public network. That so called 'cracker' is just a silly excuse to focus the blaim on a certain 'bad guy', instead of on the real cause: NASA's lame attitude towards security, especially in these critical situations.
Then why did you bother commenting on me? Anyways, i agree with you about that planetary contamination thingy. It's very obvious that polluting Earth isn't one of humankind's most impressive accomplishments, and we've got to do everything in our power to prevent that from happening on other planets. But humans just don't care...money has always been more important then any other argument, and it will be like this for quite some time to come... I was trying to be sarcastic in my reply; taking my 'why not continue'-argument into the absurd. But obviously, it wasn't as funny as i intended it to be...my apologies for that. I'll try to be more serious about these important subjects next time.
Okay, so now the Power-part of the PowerMac is sold seperately... When are they gonna ship the Mac-part (nice purple, green, red, yellow and plastic designer looks) on a card? I really would like my PC to look funky! And i've got a couple of PCI slots left...
I just can't see why you even took the time to inform the/. readers with your nice statistics. Obviously you feel pissed off about something, and are not looking forward to reactions like this. Well, this one is here just to bug you!
ok, i won't joke about VC having a not-so-very-nice-because-of-some-historic-event-th at-we-want-to-forget-as-soon-possible ring about it... i won't do that. However, i developed a piece of software that does 25:1 datacompression. It also fills out your tax-forms. Furthermore, it's stable and doesn't crash. It's the best thing that ever happened to computing. It's next-generation software. It's also expensive. I want all/. readers to sent me money. Or signatures. I also collect signatures, you see? Preferably non-digital...
For those amongst you that read Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy: search'engine: An important part of the Improbability Drive. The search'engine produces the random numbers that one needs to travel through spacetime. You travel based on the probability that what you seek for is found. I'd rather see yahoo adopt a bistro-technology model for their searchengine. The totals on the receipts in Italian Bistro's are far more random than any Giga-Google search-result i know! Or wasn't yahoo looking for a pseudo-random number generator?
I once declared a system as 'trusted'... But then it's programmers got busted, So I installed OpenBSD, Guess what happened to me? All the malicious attackers were disgusted!
RHIC...mmm... Didn't that stand for some high-tech form of mind-control called 'Radio-Hypnotic Intercerebral Control'? I bet that so-called 'Heavy Ion Colliding' is only a coverup! But who asks me?!?
x86 is the architecture of the future! I mean, we already have the dual-CPU(x2) and quad-CPU(x4) motherboards that are getting ever more popular. I bet every self-respecting motherboard manufacturer is way ahead of that, and currently working on secret octohexal-CPU (x86) architecture! I bet! One other great thing about octohexal architecture is that it'll keep your room warm. See? x86's uprise has only just started!

What's this all about? I can't read french, and NASA just crash-landed a satellite on my babelfish(tm)!

What is this non-sense? Galileo is already dead, and the Earth is flat. NASA should just get over it, and accept that...
Hehe...I *KNOW* that, i was just trying to be funny; which i guess i wasn't...

Do they also ship in an AGP-variant?

This ain't about collecting signatures, fool. This is about...well... What the hell is this about anyway?!?
I collect signatures. I'm happy.
Everything that takes itself too serious, eventually ends up dead...
Wow; Does this mean i can order my extra leg now?
I once declared a system as 'trusted'... But then it's programmers got busted, So I installed OpenBSD, Guess what happened to me? All the malicious attackers were disgusted!
RFC's are the only internet laws we need... To hell with all the legal mumbo-jumbo!
