Making money is all well and good, but it's ultimately a form of myopia. the secret is not found in how much money a person makes, but in what money represents. Wealth is a tangible symbol of man's progress. It's printed right on the face of a dollar : In God We Trust. That god is Man himself, in all his creative and resourceful glory. He trusts so implicitly in the fruits of his mind and hands that he invests pieces of paper and tiny metal disks with his self-worth. It's a good point. Money is a symbol of the vanity inherent to the human species today.

Are there multiple Star Wars RPG's coming out, or am I missing something?

BioWare is going to be creating a Single/net-Multi Player RPG, I assume (No time to read the links), and Verant Interactive, makers of EverQuest, are making a MMORPG version, which I can't wait for.

Sounds like Lucas has a good revenue stream lined up for the next couple of years... (as if the already released SW games and movies, and t-shirts, etc etc etc didn't already bring him enough cash)

It is not the intent of this text to prohibit customers from establishing a connection for residential purposes. Activities such as online banking, online trading and making purchases online are not considered in violation of the Subscriber Agreement.

The Comcast Online residential service is not intended for those that attempt to host a VPN connection or for those persons attempting to establish a VPN connection with their workplace.

Online banking, online trading, and online purchasing are typically made via SSL connections, not VPNs. Sounds like they're trying to milk money from Joe Whitecollar who needs to connect to his VPN to access files at work.

To the comments that say that VA doesn't have to support you because you installed Mandrake, bollocks. They don't have to support the OS or the Software (any OEM really only has to support what they've installed, IMHO), but they do have to support the hardware that they have supplied you. Sending the system back with parts missing and the *same exact problem* was pretty sh*tty, I think.

One question though, did the server boot with Red Hat installed?

As for pricing, Pizza Hut and Papa John's around here tend to be the same or similar prices (+-$2), but I'd still rather have pizza from the local pizza join than either one, but it's not open as late as PH/PJ's.)

Even Bell Atlantic has better customer service and support than these folks, and that's saying *a lot*. US West tends to fsck everyone that deals with them over, especially end users and residential customers. I used to like Qwest, but they've sold out.
