There's plenty of these things around. List some more.
In case people don't know this, Windows (all versions included) is not M$'s primary source of revenue. That would be their Office suite, which accounts for 40% of that very large pie.
MS, or at least their fanatical employees, are well known in the software industry for malicious pranks like this. This just reaffirms my distrust in anything they say.
