I've got mac, linux, and windows. Mac is my @ work day to day, linux is my @ home day to day, windows is up stairs in my game room for gaming.
Seems like the only thing you can't really tweak is the window manager which is annoying.. but everything else is very linuxy. Fink and ports allow you to install most things.. or you could always just compile them.. Lots of linux programs that you might want actually have mac images for easy installation..
under the hood it is BSD.. you got a shell and all your favorite shell commands.. run all the same services linux does.. etc..
it sort of is the solution..
they've fucked it up beyond repair.. we gota cut it down to size and start over..
the worst part is the politicians are all the same.. they blame the other side.. never agree to shit because it was the other sides idea.. bi partizan has killed us. now its time to cut it all down and rebuild it..
otherwise every program will inevitably just go broke like HUD is already doing.. and the programs will have sucked so much out of us that we will be in an even deeper hole than we are already in..
the current approach is not working.. its the same shit as during bush era..
time to actually change..

My grandad died of old age at like 94.. but not before he suffered a stroke 3 years earlier and was bed ridden and couldn't talk the remainder of his life..
Wall street is traded and run almost entirely automatically by the computers now days. The massive amounts of money that is traded on a day to day basis is done in very high volume by algo traders.. AKA computers. While right now the numbers are that 40% of the trades are automatic and by computers I'd bet the reality is the majority of that is the bulk of what is traded on any given day.
Point being.. our computer overlords do not care about our problems.. they only care that they make massive amounts of money.. then they don't really care if they don't.. but that is what they are set out to do.
