How exactly can the artist make more money with a copyright that lasts longer than he/she does? Sure, the company can, but that's not the intention of copyright as written into the constitution.
I wonder when a record comapny will realise that it can make more money if any artist dies now, than if they produce more albums?
Control this information.. you control the world.
Think about threatening to not ship peoples life extending drugs to a country that is being "bad".. Wow, that would have some quick results.. Or if not, then you could just wait until they die, talk to the new guys.. Easy..
As with other self marketing drugs today, I imagine copies would soon be developed
When I asked what the big deal was, the siteop responded, "think about it, by downloading that you think its okay for people to search through it to hunt down ways to fuck people over." So anyway i was just facsinated by the sudden display of morals in the warez scene.
The warez scene is a lot more moral than the business 'scene'.
how on earth did that getted modded up to +5? Every single reply (and common sense) disagrees strongly!
There are often multiple ways of looking at films and it is possible to interpret some in entirely different fashions. What I learnt in English Lit. at college was you have to be careful not to get carried away. Most of the time things are pretty much what they seem. Theories may fit, but they usually have nothing to do with the writer's intentions. Sometimes it is just a nice story.
kas.
(sorry i don't have anything interesting to say today)
If yahoo and ebay are American (USA), they should be somewhere in the.us structure. The fact that they are.com should mean that they are international in their focus. This is direct example of the USA's "cultural imperialism", which is probably caused by the mess that the regulators made of the.us domain.
All TLDs should be internationally decided. The US should only have control over the one it is given, just like the rest of us.
