Yes, yes and yes. Your feel is shared with lots and lots of people. Capitalism suck, but communism, which capitalist medias say is the only alternative and is worst, is asumed to be totalitarism. A communist government is an oxymoron. Communism is (etymologically speaking) the belief in community. Communism is (pollitically speaking) collective responsability. Communism is (materially speaking) collective ownership and the abolition of private property. As you say, the problem is not with Microsoft, but with maximisation of profits being the goal and mesure of sucess. In other words, capitalism. What is to prevent us from building alternatives? Nothing. Free software is a good example of this. Inovation has existed for far longer than money. Why would we need money to incitate people to inovate?

And both of your posts insults people who are victims of property (theft), especially (including, but no limited to) those who can't eat because people declared food as their property.

But this is not how life is made. This is not the natural way of things, as they try to make believe. Humans are not "dominant" because of their "competitively". This is ridiculous. We are a part of life, a way which evolution tried, a test of a particular form of intelligence maybe.
We used to be in harmony with nature and can go back. And this doesn't mean abandoning technology. The worst nightmare of geeks and why you can be convinced of killing yourselves? I'm tired and don't have all answers, but think a little. It's all in us. The desire to survive and the ability to adapt and create. Not the programmed self-destruction when the limits are reached because people are blinded by "economic reality", the worst abstraction of all.

An intelligent specie will not knowingly destroy itself. Thus, humans aren't showing many signs of intelligence right now.

At least more and more are. Capitalists and governments won't understand, blinded by power as they are. Being a part of the solution or part of the problem is up to you.

Humans are social animals. As such, the only way one can achieve individual freedom is by developing equal-to-equal relationships. You cannot be free if you are subordinate to someone.

Bullshit. Communism is the collective ownership of ressources and means of production, which are availiable to all. Transforming something that is free doesn't make it proprietary. So yes, you have to share what you produce, but not with a gun to your head. It's simply that you can't take what belongs to all and claim it solely yours. So it will be taken back if you try. Under a food shortage, it is better for us to eat animals than both us and animals die of hunger. Which is why we have evolved to eat meat. But the fact is, we aren't under a food shortage. Breeding artificially makes the shortage. We are vegetarians at base, face it.

Capitalism or distribution problem? It's on and the same. The power of capitalists is holding the distribution chain. It is how they keep millions (more billions nowadays) starving. And there is real starvation in the U.S. One of the richest countries has a huge poverty problem. That tells a lot about the success of capitalism.

About charity. If capitalism was successful, there wouldn't be any need for it. Charity goes against capitalism. It is a mean to compensate for its flaws. And for charity to poor counties, for each dollar given to them, many (2 to 4, I'm not sure of the numbers but sure of the fact) are taken through interest on the Debt. So we can't say America is being charitable to the poors. It's a lie.
