Since I create images for a living, I have to call bullshit on this one. What version of Sysprep are you running? What windows CD did you use to make the image? What key did you use? I am willing to get that you are not "Select" CDs with a select CD key. I have re-syspreped images multiple times without any ill effects. Hell, I have taken a user's system, re-sysprepped it, and moved it over to a completely different model of laptop (different chipset) without any ill effects.
There was at least one more gross error. Tom attributes the 32GB FAT32 volume limit to XP. However this limit was imposed by M$ in windows 2000. There is a ray of hope in all of this. At least he mentioned that it is possible to have >32 GB volumes if you use other tools. Personally, I like fdisk and format;).
Yes, I did think. The first movie was great due to the fact that there were many parallels between Neo and Christ, Morpheus and John the Baptist, etc. I really loved the movie. Now, in the reloaded, you have Morpheus giving what amounts to be a sermon followed by what amounts to be a rave/orgy. I thought that the writers of the trilogy might be drawing on Messianic themes in order to subtly send a message. Now, with rave/orgy scene introduced, I am much less sure of any subtle message and am, frankly, disappointed. Finally, the love scene between Neo and Trinity was also unnecessary. If it was implied or, better yet, hinted at, I would be fine. But, it wasn't. Did I mention that I am disappointed?
No offense, but what is it that you actually know about the process that it takes to manufacture a HD? Doesn't it occurr to you that HD are manufactured in clean rooms for reasons?
UWB is true digital radio communication, a series of very short electrical pulses (billionths of a second) that exist not on any particular frequency, but on ALL frequencies simultaneously.
It seems to me that if this technology is to be usefull, I should be able to use it anywhere in the world. If I am to use this technology anywhere in the world, it would be fair to say that all of the transmitters of UWB would have to have the same same timeing scheme. That is to say that my UWB device would have to "KNOW" WHEN to accept packets that were destined for ME WHEREEVER I am (and WHENEVER I am) in the world. So, if technology only transmitts once every billiionth of a second, is there a chance that there won't be enough billionths of a seconds to go around for all of the demand for these UWB/extremely secure devices?
Don't worry Bill Gates will be awakened from his cryogenic freeze to save the planet (I mean his monopoly). The only down side is that 1/10 of the rocets he builds will crash.
No offense, but XP "reserving" 20% of your bandwidth is a complete and utter hoax. It is a fact. Check it out. http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/windowstips/sto ry/0,24330,3365585,00.html

Now visualize, just for a moment, all of the extra internet backbone bandwidth that will be available for the rest of us to use. MMMMMM forbidden PrOn! Hell, one might even be led to believe that our cable modems might be provisioned at a higher rate.

Just think of all of the previous knowledge the developers of KDE had to work with when making the aforementioned "enterprise-quality desktop suite". If Microsoft had the gusto to start from scatch (learing from the mistakes that they have made in the past), just think of the OS that they could develop. Of course there are two very big assumptions made in the previous statement. First of all, Micosoft would have to have the "gusto". Secondly, they would have to learn from the mistakes that they have made in the past.
If you rearrange the letters in his name, one of the more interrsting ones that somes up is "WAS LIES". Think about it! Pretty freaky! Huh?!
