right, that's gonna happen, let's face it the last 5 presidents have been nothing but corporate slaves doing exactly what anyone with money wanted. This is the case in a "democracy" where all the media is controlled by large corporations, mainly thanks to the fcc. Once the fcc is bought we live in a corporate fascism like the soviet days of the pravda, i haven't seen any skylarov news on TV, and i have 1000 channels. i think the only answer at this point is the thomas jefferson answer : Revolution every 25 years!
ok, i like streaming mp3z over my LAN, but the real benefit is quake. nothing beats shouting, "ha ha fucker!" while u frag someone, especially a guest in your humble abode. on that note, go with a regular LAN and just plug it in 2 the hub and have the computers nearby. it's also the cheapest way. as far as wiring a home that u want 2 b future compatible, i'd just put big pvc ducts in the walls, cause eventually you're going 2 want fiber, and it's pricey now. just run your ethernet cable through it 4 now, and have a regular wall plate jack. nothing could be easier. and do run audio, nothing beats having an mp3 server in one room running audio 4 the house. except of course quake. quake beats everything. that in mind, u don't need pricey machines 2 run quake, cheap ones'll do (pentium mmx's and amd equiv's are real good) and then u got quake (with vid cards quake 2) up and running, set up the config file for constant mouse look, and the gameplay BARELY differs from quake 3, especially with some of the newer mods. also, set up skins. i like the naked skin, the nun skin, the geek skin, and the incredible hulk skin. happy fragging.

Who carez about space elevators? scientists @ nasa just levitated a bowling ball according 2 popular mechanics (i think april) using an electromagnetic wave that convinced matter that it's gravitational effect was less than what it in fact was. i want area 51 opened up NOW! and i want bush's brother 2 not b n charge of counting his brother's votes!
everyone should really vote 4 nader. the guy has all of our best interests in mind, and could definitely help end the tyranny of corporate representative democracy, and maybe usher in a real democracy where we all vote 4 issues on the net, etc. i know there are dozens of technical difficulties 2 this idea, but that'z what all u/. geekz r 4 anyway, right?

all these programs crash, maybe cause win crashes by itself. i want a cool edit pro that runz under linux. if u build it they will come (card developer driverz). and besides, cool edit is a VASTLY Superior interface. u can c examples of MY cubase recording/mixing/mastering (albeit @ only 16 bit) @ my URL : http://www.riffage.com/Bands/0,2939,12433,00.html check out set it right. that is the best mastered one.... i know blatent spam, but seriously... cakewalk sound forge and cubase all suck compared 2 cool edit 4 speed/ease of use and just raw usability. rhy
