One thing to keep in mind is that 802.11A does not keep the same range. It actually now takes 4 access points to cover the same area that 802.11B covers. That's why my company has chosen to ignore it for now. Not to mention the cost.
While I agree this would be cool. Writing a Virus is illegal, and I think you would be prosecuted just the same for writing a "GOOD" one as you would for writing a bad one.
When I read stuff like this from Slashdot, it makes me remember WHY Slashdot is not recognized by ANY major source as a professional news site.
WAKE UP. Microsoft is HUGE and their software is used everywhere. People need access to this site just as much as you Linux chumps need access to ftp.redhat.com.
I think the top end Sony along with the Acoustimass 15 Bose Speakers is the best. Thats what I am running, and I have yet to hear anything that touches it.
I completely agree. I have an NT 4 server with 80 Gigs of Storage, SP4 that is our primary file server that has been running without a reboot for over 16 months. This machine services over 1200 users.
