Maybe being a "geek" will make a better adult, but that person will not be healthier.

I'd guarantee that 80%+ of subluxations occur in people who sit at a desk all day looking at a computer. People doing NOTHING, in other words, are the ones coming in for critical spinal adjustments.

It's no longer the bricklayer or laborer coming in with back and nerve damage, it's the folks doing nada.

I use Facebook to keep in touch with patients and other health care professionals (chiropractors, homeopaths, acupuncturists, etc.)

Dispensing health advice through it is quite nice but there's a lot of quackery there (vaccine pushers, big pharma, etc.)

It's great for what we use it for.

Sorry, but all this radiation is killing the planet.

Earth used to be a nice, hospitable place until the invention of radioactivity. What do we have to show for it? Cancer, mutations and vertebral subluxations.

Sure, high rates of subluxations are good for Doctors of Chiropractic, but they are killing people. Mark my words, in the future they will vilify the inventor of radiation while holding chiropractic up high as the saviour of mankind!

What placebo effect? I've read this many times and have never seen documented evidence for it in relation to Chiropractic! Meanwhile it has cured millions of aches, pains, some diseases, deafness and colic. That's not placebo.

Now, if a robot DID respond to proper Chiropractic adjustment, would it be placebo? NO! Because you said they wouldn't respond.

If they evolve intelligence and more developed nervous systems, they may also be in dire need of nerve and spinal care to deal with nerve blockages and other problems Humans have with our systems.
I'm not sure how Chiropractors could detect subluxations in a robot, but hopefully some well-deserved research money will come for that! I think I'll mention this to some of my more open minded colleagues at a convention next month. .

By now most people know how a chiropractor realigns the spine and smoothes the pathways for nerve function to be optimized.

There were a couple (or 3?) studies I remember reading in a chiropractic journal which demonstrated how people who went in for regular Chiropractic maintenance alignments and adjustments scored better on IQ tests. Keeping your body clean of BigPharma drugs along with regular adjustments == Better health for YOU!

That sounds like a horrible chemical! I would bet it's the cause of many vertebral subluxations leading to illness in people.

I was at a Chiropractic seminar a few months ago where one of the presenters had an interesting point: the more syllables in a chemical name, the more dangerous they are.

Chiros who claim that there is no truth to microbe-borne illnesses are few and far between these days.

What *is* true is that vertebral subluxations will hamper your immune systems effectiveness and let these microbes make you ill.
A Chiro can keep you healthy by dealing with the subluxations with regular Chiropractic adjustments, no need for vaccines or BigPharma drugs.

You really should eat a lunch. Not for the social networking as the article states, but for your health.

Take some time, eat an organic banana and unsalted, organic almonds. Perhaps some curried tofu made from organic, non-GMO soybeans. There has been a few articles in the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine in which Chiropractors have found that patients who routinely skip lunch have many more (and more serious) subluxations which cause poor health.

Subluxations are, to be blunt, where all a person's ill health will start. Eliminate those and enjoy good health!

    Take care!

Chiropractors specialize in nervous system function. If there were a subluxation around the spot where the nerves from the spine ran to the lymphatic system, there's no doubt in my mind that I could treat the subluxation and have the lymph system deal with the infection.

    Subluxations are worse than cancer.
