  1. Re:Not such a great idea on Black Boxes to Track Driving Habits? · · Score: 1

Speeding isnt dangerous per say its excessive speed differential that is dangerous. If everyone is going 80 and not tail gating then its perfectly safe to drive. Its not speeders who make the road dangerous. Its people who drive wrecklessly who make driving dangerous. If you weave in and out of trafic going 10 or 15 miles faster then everybody else then your dangerous or you change lanes into faster lanes with out looking your likely to cause an accident, but if you drive like me and you give people plenty of space and you keep aware of your surrondings then you will be perfectly safe. Im 20 drive a fast car and drive it fast Ive been driving 4 years and ive only gotten pulled over once and one speeding ticket for going 32 in a 25 a block from my house. I have never had an accident my fault or otherwise. I am a good driver and I never drive under the speed limit.(Maybe its cause im a gamer :) )

  2. Re:And so continues the war of escalation on MPAA Goes After Its Customers · · Score: 1

Pgp encrypting mp'3 and movies would be absurd and not even neccesary, as simple encryption is all that is neccecary because the same rules in dmca that forbid us from cracking ceaser shifts in adobe acrobat forbid the mpaa and riaa from breaking ours. Since its illegal to decrypt they cannot use it as evidence in court with out a search warrant for it first, and lets see them try and get search warrants to decrypt individual chunks of mp3's. I think the system is corrupt but not that corrupt.

My favorite by far is if you ask the alice bot on the webpage for the movie AI "What is microsoft" It replys: "Microsoft is a giant software monopoly."

If you ask what is linux it replys: "Linux is the worlds best operating system"

  5. Source Code? on Court to FBI - Full Public Review Of Carnivore · · Score: 1

I think it is stupid to even mention the FBI giving away the source code to carnivore. You may belive in open source and you may want to know what the FBI is doing but its an entirely different matter to give a way the blue prints to some thing like that. That is like giving the source for the nuke guidance systems or all are encryption keys. No matter how much its over used there is a use for nationla security and this is one of them.
