What if Microsoft created robots with these rules. Would anyone trust that system not to crash at the worst moment?

  2. Robotics vs. Programming on Ask the Robotic Psychiatrist · · Score: 3, Interesting

I'm a Robotic Specialist and I found I had plenty of Mechanical and Electronic skills when I left school, which was great if I wanted to repair assembly lines, but when it came to programming I had to go back to school to get more education. Do you feel Robotic people are lacking skills in computer programming and are behind computer people because of it? or more specifically, Do you think Computer Programmers are more qualified to build robotic systems then robotic people and thats why we have such limited robotic tech compared to the even today's video games?

  4. Become your own boss. Contract on Modifying Employment Agreements? · · Score: 1

I don't think I know anyone who isn't a contractor these days. But the long and short of it, as a contractor, you can do whatever you like outside the job because they are hiring you as a company and not an employee. A lot of companies love to hire people on contract rather than employee because they can renegotiate later. And the tax relief is great. Lets face it, nobody is an employee anymore. Job security was something our fathers got when they applied to the telephone company. Now we must be vigilant and look for multiple sources of income.

    Good luck

You need to use a series of transistors and diods, with a momentary switch and access to a loud noise device. The momentary switch could be one of these:

The idea is that she only needs to make contact once and then the device turns on. No need to flip a switch or something like that. Then when it gets too hard for her to press the switch, you could rig a straw to a home made breath switch and the lightest amount of breath would make contact and start the alarm. It would be cool to make this. Good luck. Paul.

Do you feel that this contributes to your success as a novelist? Do you feel your fans are a good source of inspiration? Have you considered that this form of writing is unique and makes you a pioneer in Open Source Novel Writing.

    Thanks, Paul.

Hi, I have a Handera and I was pleasantly surprised when I went into a London Drugs (Canada computer retailer) and saw a open box Linksys cf wireless card. I asked the clerk to try it and because I already loaded all the software upgrades in my handera for a demo a while ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had no troubles loading up and connecting at all.

One thing you should keep in mind is if you can use your keyboard after you plug on the 802.11b sled from the Palm Models. It sucks chatting with graffeti.

So I think you should get a Handera because they seem to work with more models then just the symbol card. Although I'd get it because of form factor. I wonder if you put it into a CF Card reader if you could use it in a PCMCIA slot? Also your batteries will die fast because of the power drain from the card so a Handera with all it's superior battery life is ideal. (i.e. 4AAA or Li-ion battery pack extra) Sorry but Pocket PC's just don't have Batter life. Even Palms too. Although the palm 802.11b sled I think has it's own battery pack. :)
