Did you actually read what the OP wrote? IPsec to home office. NO PUBLIC INTERNET. NOTHING IN THE BITTORRENT SPEC WILL HELP because all the bittorrent traffic *still has to come home* to go back out.

The easiest way is just to script a push out to the individual stores.

Explain to me how bit torrent is going to help his home office wan traffic congestion?!

Others have already given him the best solution for his case - DVDs. Overnight them, and he is done. Latency may be a bit much, but not that much more than doing it over DSL or dialup.

Now, lets go back to discussing OT stuff.

What has that got to do with anything? If that's the case, the files that are currently pushed out to DR still has to be executed manually or automagically.

The OP is not asking for that - the OP wants the files to be transferred automagically. A DVD works perfectly fine, just has high latency.

You should go ask for your money back from all your reading lessons as you appeared to have missed the part when she said it was her father who opened the account in her name, at another address. >Should they win, those companies get a new product to sell in a market clamoring for Apple stuff.

That's true, but we also get a whole hell of a lot more consumer rights. Imagine being able to return software for a refund! Or running the software you paid for on anything you like. Or selling it. You know, the basic consumer rights we take for granted for everything except software.

Again, WTF ARE YOU SMOKING?! If you don't want an OSX system, don't buy an Apple. You have already indicated that you prefer a typical PC, than an Apple branded one. WHY WOULD YOU BUY AN APPLE BRANDED PC THEN IF YOU DON'T WANT OSX?!

If you *DO* want OSX, then you don't get to return the software since you need that license.

Freedom to tinker and freedom to use is bigger than Apple. Much bigger.
