I have had a visor deluxe for almost a year. I have broken it twice. First time, the little app buttons with the metal backs got smashed in. Second time the screen cracked. (I only carry it in my front pocket.)
I also have a cell phone, I carry it on my hip and beat the hell out of it all day. It hasn't broken yet.
I don't think I could ever treat my visor half as rough as I do my cell phone. The visor would break in a few weeks.
This sounds like it came right out of a sales pitch:
"...the graphics capabilities of a PlayStation are staggering -- five
times more powerful than that of a typical graphics workstation,
and roughly 15 times more powerful than the graphics cards
found in most PCs."
And what about this:
"Most Americans don't realize that each PlayStation unit
contains a 32-bit CPU -- every bit as powerful as the processor
found in most desktop and laptop computers,"
"...it
contains a 300 MHz-driven, 128-bit CPU. In addition to a
plethora of new games designed to utilize PlayStation 2's
hardware, it can play games from the original PlayStation's
library, audio compact discs and DVD movies. "
So is it a 32-bit CPU or a 128-bit CPU?
Random powers of 2 make it sound cooler.
A few years ago I picked up a device that attached to the parallel port and the VCR hooked up to it. I think it was called a "backer"? The thing never worked. I tried a few high quality VCR's but the error correction always screwed up.
Oh well,..not like I do anything important enough to backup anyway.
I dislike traffic. Who doesn't? So I moved. I went from an hour commute to a 5 minute walk...
Now that my boss knows I live so close to the office I doubt I'll ever get to telecommute.
It is nice to walk by all the commuters stuck in their cars though...
They have been sending notices every few weeks warning of this. Yesterday I received a packet complete with "setup" cd for Charter Pipeline.
A friend has already switched and they seem to be providing the same service. (5$ more expensive).
We recently started using Oracle Discoverer as an "access-like" front end to Oracle. Users can create queries and reports and it is relativly quick.
I'm running it, thanks to this page.

(Or I may just be clumsy)
