Anecdotal evidence, granted, but nobody I know who uses Photoshop on their PC actually paid for their copy. All the mac users who do, did.
For the home user, when PainshopPro costs £30 and offers similar functionality, you'd be mad to pay for Photoshop. In the professional world I sure most copies are licenced, but I'm sure Macs still represent very significant proportion of commercial users.
Topless 16 year old girls as well...
Not only porn, but Kiddie porn by US standards.
Actually, The Sun is such a hate-filled, bilious publication, It probably deserves to go under the new domain purely for the racist, sexist and homophobic veiws contained on its pages almost every day. The porn is just a side issue and in their own words "is only a bit of a laugh, anyway"
This is a GLOBAL problem. In this circumstance, you are a citizen of the world.
Forget your McCarthyist paranoia and lobby for GLOBAL action.
The Malthusian checks you refer to have only been suspended. Technology cannot hold them back forever and may in the end contribute to their re-emergance stronger than ever...
The G3 has been around for ages. It has long been suspected that the speeds chosen for use in iMac and iBooks are conditioned more my marketing factors then technological limitations, particularly the 66mhz system bus. Basically, IBM can clock them faster the Motorola can clock G4s, but it is unacceptable to have a faster chip in the cheaper machines (Altivec excepted).
The 3-5 degree raise in temperature seems entirely within the engineering limitations of the machine and I have to say that this mod looks very enticing indeed.
The important point raised here is that the Java-based chat client (DigiChat) keeps no logs of the communication which goes through it, and in a forum as underused as Appinsider (have you seen their 'latest' update?) at times you could have an almost private, unmonitored communications facility simply through the underuse of the this part of the web.?
Unlikely as this may be, I guess the point is that terrorists could virtually teleconference without even using a technology which needs to be encrypted and most probably will not be being monitored by the government and federal agencies.
I am not a Swede, although you may be a turnip. I believe we once had a communist councilor in Dunfermline for a few weeks. That's one seat out of about 5,000 local government representatives.
I think that there were more communists in the USA than people in Scotland until your so-called Bill of Rights failed to prevent the removal of their free speech in the 1950s.
But you fail to understand state funding of political parties anyhow. Every political party who can meet a certain membership criterion receives - as their only form of income - money from a central source to fund their administration, campaigning and electioneering.
Fear not, oh capitalist running-boy lackey. This doesn't prevent fervant lobbying, or independent, 'non-afiliated' interest groups from mounting their own campaigns. What it does prevent however, is big buisness literally buying political parties wholesale. This can only be a good thing.
And BTW, how does a choice between the Democrats and GOP represent of choice of any kind whatsoever?
If proper hyperlinking of article text hadn't become the forgotten point of the Internet, perhaps M$ wouldn't feel that this service would add value to surfing...
What about the 'killer' tackles I employ in various football (soccer) games... Am I now only able to scythe down cattle and martians. Alien Mod for FIFA 2000 anyone?
BTW, How easy is it for minors to acquire firearms in Connecticut? Is it now easier to get a real gun than play Smash TV?
(Ok I haven't been to an arcade for years - Ironically because they're too full of kids...)
"The Patents cover a METHOD for recording one program while playing back another"
It is obvious that TiVo have patented the act of recording one programme whilst watching another by whatever processes go on within their box, rather than the whole concept of it.
Suggesting the former is just a good way of getting your submission noticed, and causing rampant hysteria in the forums...
Why??? Why would anyone cheat at this? What is there to gain from it? I don't go checking the scores to see who has the greatest computer. It's not the point of the exercise. I don't have PC envy, and I'm surprised if anyone else does too.

You computer will blow up if the processor speed-steps below 600Mhz...
Yeah, it sounds like the multiplayer game is just a bit too much like real life...
Wait a minute... Now I'm confused.
I remember a bit further back, but I think it's just a memory of a mammary...
We all know the Vikings discovered New Zealand hundreds of years before these so called 'New Zealanders'
A big fan of all 3 Mad Max Films eh?
You also like to compare apples, oranges and lemons?
Horrible Apple Mac Hockey-puck style mouse had a two-tone ball. Grey and White, If I remember (got rid of it pretty darn quick).
Wow. A literal brain dump. Just don't use Eproms or you might loose your mind...

Typical...
Yet again, where Apple lead, the others follow.

All we need now is Jonathan Swift to come back from beyond the grave and instigate a class action on behalf of some little lilliputians...

Someone should tell this guy that if he's looking for the ultimate coffee he ain't going to get it from a drip method.
Coffee needs to have its flavour force extracted by water at about 18 bar pressure....
Take a look at:
Gaggia
Capresso
Seaeco
and remember, the more money you spend - the better it gets. Or go to your local coffee emporium, but remember kids - Starbucks are evil!

Er, no.
State funding of political parties puts everyone on a level playing field. It's a basic tenet of democracy in Sweden and other advanced countries.
It lets citizens judge issues on the arguements presented, rather than by the law of who shouts the loudest.
While I take on board all the points about it's your company's computer, network, internet pipe, etc...
Hands up who's posting from work!

Stupid tags if quality of links from their search engine is an appropriate example of the standard of linking we'll get.

At least I think I can... for a while... and then I start to think it's all my fault... and I want the voices to stop...
