Interestingly, in the European version of Stalone's classic (ahem) Demolition Man, Pizza Hut was the only fast-food chain to survive the transformation to utopia. I guess they figured we wouldn't know what Taco Bell was (though there did used to be one on Kensington High Street, London)
There were a few bloopers in the film though. I guess they could have done with this digital editing technique to switch the logos in all of the scenes.
And despite Pizza Hut having pretty low credibility over here, I don't think their reputation is anywhere near as bad as TBs (although saying that, if they continue to use They Might Be Giants songs without permission in their latest UK adverts, who knows...

Eek! I did know that. Yeah one of his grandfathers was Scottish, though his family came from Liverpool, I believe.
WHenever I'm stateside and get asked if I am Irish, I always reply with "are you Canadian?" Petty, but it seems appropriate...
Try asking an AUssie if they're from New Zealand if you really want to cause offence!
It is indeed quite good. It would be a whole lot better if its logic thought that Check-mating an opponent was the best available move when possible...
I beat it 3-Nil, but it should really have been 2-1.
Now, if you'll excuse the terrible pun, surely the industry should be moving towards leaner, more efficient processors.
Has anyone ever measured the AMD Athlon's contribution to global warming through both its excessive voltage requirements and heat dissipation.
I've been waiting for someone to bring out a 5 1/4" Toasted Sandwitch drive module for my overclocked dream machine. I doubt it would even need a heating element...
Just out of interest, why would anyone view porn in a Library anyway... It's not like you could do anything with it.
The existing laws against public indecency should surely suffice.
There is a fantastic film...

Hidden City by Stephen Poliakoff in which an innocent is led into a murky world of misplaced Government secrets after uncovering some wartime footage of injured troops in a secret London hospital.
Features much subway exploration, deserted hospital raiding and maniac Governement agent avoidence. Really tense. Really engaging. Really out of print at the moment...
Why don't you have widescreen in the US. I know that Sony telly will do Letterbox, but I thought with DVD reaching ubiquity and most DVDs being at least 16:9 ratio that you'd have them by now.
What's the problem here? They're not suggesting that some national TV coverage is better/more inclusive/less biased than others, are they?
If that were to be the case (like as born out by the facts) why shoudn't I be able to watch it on the network providing the coverage I require.
The requisite 2 meter satellite dish and motor I would need to receive Norwegian TV would topple by mobile home, however the Fat Pipe of DSL keeps me rooted to the ground. I know how I'd prefer to receive my programming.
Far more interesting than the Luddites, were the perpetrators of the Rebecca Riots, who dressed up in women's clothing to attack tollbooths and smash-up turnpikes... And a campaign against restriction of movement was on far higher moral ground than one for restriction of trade...
Not that I've always wanted to run rampage in a dress, you understand;)
Or in the real world, an Oxymoron, a rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, more often than not for effect rather than by error...
And I bet you thought that was a spot cream for stupid people

How about a device that is a mobile phone bike wristwatch potato-baker digicam remote control, powered only by said potatoes that you can be worn on your wrist, hung on your Price Albert and plays MP3s, but only by Metallica...

My god, I can barely bean an amoeba at chess...
Leslie Grantham sure looks uglyer on the French version...
Until this guy ceases putting an acronym for "F*** the Pope" at the end of his posts, please stop giving him Karma. It's kind of ironic if you do...

Man, I've hardly had the heating on this winter.
You should see the trouble Scunthorpe College had!
They had to change their name to North Lindsey College

Now, that's how it looks from this side of the pond. If only something so remote and untouchable didn't influence our lives so.
Le plus la change, le plus la meme chose.
A simple comma would really help that sentance be unambiguous... Is such slackness really deserving of Karma? If so, I hope you come back as Tip-ex.
