    Long term storage is in dry casks, not spent fuel pools, which are only needed for short term storage.

    I think motive is rather obvious. I would discard the idea of superstition and the like.

    1) Liberia is poor, like really poor.
    2) Drugs are expensive, like really expensive.
    3) Drugs in a quarantine zone for a deadly epidemic are in high demand, very high demand.
    4) Profit!

    That would make sense if there were any drugs.

    The treatment for Ebola is paracetemol (acetaminophen, aka Tylenol for Americans). Even in Liberia it's not that expensive.

    Right now, most of the world's CO2 emissions numbers are based on what gov claim that their nation consumed in coal, oil, and nat gas. Yet, it does not take into account issues such as inefficiencies, etc. Most of the numbers dealing with 3rd world and even some of the western nations are really wrong.

    Well, no.

    The emissions numbers are based on two powerful mathematical and physical principles known as "double entry bookeeping" and "consevation of mass-energy". Any "inefficiencies" would result in the emission of less CO2
