I think it's also interesting to note, that whenever other statistics are gathered, it takes a year to before you know whats going on, yet, this time, within, two to three weeks they can already tell?
that I could forsee with this, is, if their carpool lanes are like the DC carpool lanes, there is no enforcement (well very little) to keep people from abusing the HOV lanes to make it worthwhile.
I tried this a couple of weeks ago.. It's so so, but as a user you didn't really have the ability to get files you want, but what other people want you to get, and it seems very unpredictable as far as start time, length of download, etc. Of course it was still beta so I expect to see improvements yet.
OTOH, it's nice just to sit there and let the pr0n roll in.
I can't stress this enough.. make sure not to over do the daisy chaining of the surge protectors. After having just had a lan party at my place with about 8 people in the basement, and all on the same circuit, and two circuit trips because someone went to go pee, we had to start mandating people use the bathroom in the dark, or pause the game and everyone power their monitors off.
Well parents should be the first line of defense. Just because there are filtering programs, that doesn't mean they shouldn't play an active role in that.
But just as any adult material is required to do for snail mail, there should be a disclaimer (perhaps in the subject), so that should be able to be easily identified by programs, or people.
I don't think it's all surprising. We used to draw pictures, but then we moved on to letters. It's a much more efficient way of communicating than cursive. When was the last time you purchased an entirely handwritten book? Probably not since the Guttenberg days...
To go back and listen to your favorite advertisement, silly.
Honestly though, when I hear a new big song on the radio, it's played to death. I don't worry about missing it. Also, being able to store in a format (ogg, mp3, whatever), I am afraid that it really wouldn't be very useful to me in the broadcast quality it comes across the airwaves in. Does anyone know of an accurate representation of what the kbps is of a radio stream without going overboard (i.e. 256kbps is probably overkill)?
Sounds to me like the future doesn't like John Connor. They keep sticking him with the same old model Terminator (not even a newer model that looks like the old one) while the one coming to kill him has all the latest bells and whistles.

Something's fishy.
a read/write implementation of BeFS for linux!
coming to /., seeing that headline, and this banner at the top.
I suspect this is what the developers of Duke Nukem Forever have done as well.
Actually some time ago, I think they did attempt to sue over the use of the word SPAM..
I would think that the previous outcome would have some kind of effect on this.
Only if iptables is set up to forward any port 80 requests to 3128 automatically, it would!

Thanks! At least someone thought it was funny, and not a troll, or flamebait.
I have definitely felt the vibe when interviewing
That's sexual harassment, and you don't have to take it. Unless you want the job, of course.
PRINT "Hello, World!"
I thought the summary already said what you're saying... and the other half to their failure to make up with Microsoft

Also probably a good first line of defense as birth control as well. Make sure the swimmers don't reach their destination!
But they can do the second-by-second analysis. So if you don't watch, they know. If you skip commercials, they know.
Personally, I don't care if they have this info, as long as I don't start getting more crap mail.
Well don't count on that... SCO will probably try to take out TiVo too...
Duke Nukem Forever release date has been announced... More at 11.
I don't think the RIAA/MPAA would give a damn if you copy PS2 games... :)

I'll expect to see IPv6 in wide deployment about the same time as the release of Duke Nukem Forever.
I would appear to me that line was in reference to WineX 2.1, from a year ago, not the current release, which is really the focus of this article.

wouldn't it be nice if the lawmakers offices were running NAT, and someone sent a cease and decist based upon this law.
