I hacked a nostromo controller and added foot pedals to it. It's great for Battlefield 2, and the macros are useful (switch from burst to single fire when using a scope, for instance).
I was that kid. I always shot for B's, and got them easily. Then I got to go home and read what I wanted to read and pursue what I wanted to pursue. School was deathly boring.
It doesn't matter when a console comes out, things will always be better later, so what does it matter? It's just for playing games.
I read something perhaps a year or so ago about people who were studying E's brain and commenting on the unusual structures and connections it had.
So how could it be that some crackpot had it all this time?
A tilt sensor is very easy to add to an cabinet. arcadecontrols.com has some details I believe, and at least one cabinet manu includes a tilt sensor with their product.
It's not going to be the same thing because there's nothing as compelling about blue-ray or hd-dvd as there was with dvd.
