    By installing this software you agree to giving us your first born child.....

    I'm not sure all EULA's would be enforcable. I seem to remember some clause about not being able to contract away your rights.

    First, I didn't say it would be easy. Second, one doesn't need modern weapons to really mess things up for the occupying force.

    Give me something as simple as hatchet and a roving patrol that's not paying attention. Very crude simple weapons can easily be turned into whatever the enemy is carrying.

    Finally the Brits didn't find it very gentlemenly of those revolutionaries who hid behind trees! You have to take advantage of every opportunity you can find.

    If all else fails, ask for help, the U.S. would probably do a lot for the oppresed people of Iraq, but they aren't willing to help themselves.

    Geeez, when I took calculus if the answer was 38162.62515 / 86.721, it was perfectly acceptable to leave that as the answer.

    Usually you would end up with something more like sqrt(pi)/4. The prof was more concerened about you understanding the problem, not working out what the square root of pi was......

    And people can choose to take back their rights, by force if necessary. Is the DMCA worth taking up arms over, probably not. The Brady Bill, probably not. How about water rights, probably not. But add them all together and the government no longer represents the rights and concerns of the people. As a matter of fact, the declaration of independence calls it our duty to stop the tyranny of government. Maybe it's time to stop living off of dead veterans and pay for what we have... Just a thought.

    In a required class to get my CS degree we had to design a 4 bit CPU. Granted this was done in one of those EDA tools, like a digital version Spice. But it required the whole show, registers, memory, microcode, etc. Because of it I have a much better understanding of what my code is doing today. So you may be joking, trolling, but yeah at some point you should at least be exposed to flipping bits to get something to run.

    OO is high level, teach them assembler first and how the machine works. I've seen way too many people writing really crappy code because they have no idea what's going on inside the machine.

    When I start see stories on the news that relay the truth about the failure of gun control, and how citizens legally & justifiably kill 3 times more criminals then law enforcement every year, then, and only then, will I believe the government doesn't somehow control and direct mass media.

    Well since we appear to have just jumped off the deep end.... The Western military is impressive against fortified divisions, bomb factories, airports, ports, etc. Air supierority is extremely impressive also, dominating the skys as it sees fit.

    But, the Western military falls apart when attempting to engage non fortified mobile enemies. Take note of the past several years worth of "Peace Keeping" activity where this military-might proved ineffective. Any sufficiently organized revolution is going to take the Geneva convention and all other forms of "proper military conduct" and toss them out the window. But I've said enough already.

    Considering there is no un-discovered continents left on this planet, where do you plan to form this country? Or is this going to be an e-country? I'm amazed at how many people run when the smell of battle is in the air. If you don't stand your ground no one is going to do it for you. The American colonists were not left alone by the Brits, don't think that you can escape the WTO, UN, and any other of those anti-personal-freedom organizations out there by forming your own country!
