actually, i believe that it parallels the war of independence much more

personal freedom. oh and not to mention the highly empowered black woman

  3. Two things that need done. on What Should Microsoft's Open Source Strategy Be? · · Score: 1

the first thing that needs done is the policing of their predatory practices. this has to be done simply because their market share allows them to dictate absurd contracts to their OEM's et al. secondly i think that while they dont have to release source per se, i think they should release specs on their file formats and protocols such that other OSS projects may be able to interoperate with microsoft products seamlessly. this im certain would also have to be policed simply because they cant be trusted.

having gone through a similar situation in my past. ( currently age 26 ), ive found that regardless of age, you will go though this sort of adjustment period with each new employer. you have to build a reputation through demonstration. this doesnt happen overnight or even in a few months. this is done through consistently getting the job done with minimal stress and hassle on your fellow coworkers and manager(s). as others have said, the desired solution isnt always the most technically correct. take all of the good advice here, stay low key with as minimal of an agression factor as possible. take initiative and quietly get the job done. the repect will come.

to drink with the family on occasion. i
personally didnt drink much at all when i
was a kid due to lack of interest. i could
when i wanted to without question. i just
    had no interest.

the same goes for sex/porn. sex wasnt somthing

questions, they get honest answers. no major
porn adicts running around either for the same
    reason id imagine.

is the real reason that adults dont want to

Another point is that alot of the Open Source
projects have anoter project which provides a
GUI front end. so in essence, there is UI
development that is decoupled from the core
code developemnt. that is where the connection
between the average joe user and the UI dev should
    be.

either way, until the average user is not afraid
of mailinga developer with feed back, or even has the desire,
were not going to GET the loop closed.

that or a linux based company is going to have to
