It's an extended warranty. It exists to mitigate risk. Sure, it looks like a waste of money if the risky event never takes place, but that's how it works. You make it sound like Apple is doing something egregious. You are probably a hate-filled person who can't stand that other people are rational.
The problem with the wave-based solutions is that someone has to turn it back on after the last adult is out of the pool. If you weren't a sarcasm-driven, drooling moron, you'd have thought of that before posting your shit.
Apple is a hardware maker that allows others to play. They have neither obligation, nor desire, to test other manufacturers' hardware. Apple betas are readily available to anyone who wants them. If DisplayLink were lazy shits, it's entirely their fault.
Apple has never tested OS updates against third-party hardware. And the "developer" who thinks it's even a good idea, never mind required to update the OS or Xcode on day one of their release is such a fucked-up idiot, he shouldn't be allowed to even feed himself.
Only fuck-wits like you think that Apple expects everything they do to be the best. Meanwhile, Apple is rolling in dough, and you're an anonymous pile of shit.
It's a fairly-widely held belief amongst Apple-platform developers that the iOS frameworks are of a superior design to the macOS equivalents. Apple had the luxury of abandoning source compatibility with iPhoneOS, and they took complete advantage.
1) iOS still supports HTML5 apps pinned to the home screen. 2) One never has to show source to submit to the App Store. 3) Apple allows anyone who wants to download an app's source and build it for themselves on their own phone, free of charge. Thus, you don't necessarily have to go through the App Store to get an app. (Most apps have no source publicly available, but the option is there.)
You must not have been around in the early days. Perhaps it's better now, but I remember Java 1.x releases. There wasn't even forward compatibility at that point. That is, applications compiled with Java 1.2 would not always run correctly, or at all, on 1.3 VMs.
I can, and have, use(d) my credit card to pay for a 35 cent item. Do you think it would cost me more or less than 35 cents to do the same with BTC? What's the cutoff? I paid and walked out of the store in about a minute. How long would a merchant be waiting on a BTC tx to go through before allowing me to take said item?
Shit piles like omnichad are full of hate, and abhor facts. Reality is not important to them.

I don't. But I don't live in the insurance hell that is the US.

One would think that one would read the fucking summary before replying, but this is slashdot...

So... zero.
Why do you think Apple is beholden to semantic versioning?

When I bother to use an external monitor with my new MacBook Pro, I use HDMI. You must be an incompetent pile of feces.
Apple doesn't give a shit about you, and neither does anyone with any self-esteem. Ferrari won't sell you an econobox, either.
Only fuck-wits like you think that Apple expects everything they do to be the best. Meanwhile, Apple is rolling in dough, and you're an anonymous pile of shit.
Actually, the only people to claim that "Apple did it first" are the fuck-shits like you who infest slashdot.
It's a fairly-widely held belief amongst Apple-platform developers that the iOS frameworks are of a superior design to the macOS equivalents. Apple had the luxury of abandoning source compatibility with iPhoneOS, and they took complete advantage.
Unfortunately, you haven't yet been a victim of a fatal car crashing involving you and the idiot parents who spawned you.

If Tesla's system hasn't tracked you down and turned you into a nondescript splat on the pavement, it is indeed too shitty to be used.
I see what you did, their.
FTFY

If that makes your code more difficult to maintain, it was already a mass of shit.
In today's gender-fluid world, perhaps the actual problem is that not enough people in tech identify as women.
then someone throws a monkey wrench in your plan.
It's Africa; they just throw in a monkey.

And, who cares? Does Youtube need permission? The is a huge "who fucking cares?" moment.
You typed "her" just fine. It's just that your fingers kept going.
