What can be done to keep employee privacy, while keeping your company from being sued from a mysterious 3rd party. Outsource your email. Outsource it to havenco.com if you want privacy.
As far as web browsing, I don't see how that's any of your business. There is no company liability in web browsing. You cannot stop someone from downloading or uploading anything... no matter what you do. So, it would be common sense that your company is not liable because you provided netscape with your OS.
I, personally, had my boss reading through my and my associates email because he felt like it. Under the current laws he can do that. But, guess what. I don't use the company email system now... for anything.
And, so, either provide your employees with privacy in browsing and email, or outsource or eliminate both. Either that, or you'll be supporting an impotent and non-functional "network". It's your choice.
I was wondering. What is encryption, in and of itself. Is it only software based? Is it hardware? Is it placing a smoke cloud between you and your enemy?
For me, encryption can be putting a "pull" sign on a convenience store door, when you really have to "push" it. It can be all those things, and anything that keeps people out.
I think that all of the rules and rights we have now are simply an illusion to make us feel better. If the door doesn't keep people out, then it isn't encryption. It's a door.
How about some Ninja Scroll type anime on tv. Wish there was a Anime Network, like HBO, that would get the 0-day kickass anime inhouse.
DBZ.. it's ok I suppose. But, Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, Fist of the North Star type stuff floats my boat. Wow, I must be a sick bastard... hmm.. issues.
Is this what is called the Mark of the Beast? Happy Day! I've been waiting for all this shit to end.. guess we're one step closer. Cool. Now if these fellas(http://www.bilderberg.org/) can help out, I'm sure we'll be right as rain.

Very colorful.. I'm nearly embarrassed to say that I concur with what you said. Yup, that's about it. Later.
