  1. He forgot to delete his secure delete program on Deleting Files is a Crime? · · Score: 1

The defendant might have had a better chance of getting away with using a secure delete program if he had securely deleted it once he had finished using it. If you're going to use software that is potentially unauthorized, it's just plain stupid to leave any indication that you ever installed it, let alone that you used it.

Oh and by the way, the word 'cunt' is the most widely used expletive in my language (only it's an adjective around here) it's bandied about by everybody both in real life and on television day and night, even in polite conversation. It lost it's power to shock twenty years ago.
Reminds me of the time that the Pope and one of his cardinals were traveling by train. The Pope who was doing a crossword puzzle, looked up and asked his cardinal "What's a four letter word ending in '-unt' that means 'woman'?" The cardinal blushed, became rather flustered, and after a few moments of indecision blurted out "Aunt! It's 'aunt'!" The Pope said "Of course! I should have known. Can I borrow your eraser?"

Yes, it's sad. :) On the rare occasion when I do switch my keyboard layout to Dvorak, it is usually for journal entries, which can be so mundane or trite that I would be embarrassed for someone to read them.

I keep it straight in my head just by remembering what I have said.

Actually, it's not that hard to make a QRTY keyboard type Dvorak letters.
In X, you just have to make sure that the "XkbLayoiut" option in the keyboard section is set to "dvorak" instead of "us" or whatever.

Of course, real hax0rs are command line users, so you want to use "loadkeys dvorak" instead,. I have this in my gentoo startup scripts.

The first thing I usually do when I get a new keyboard is to pop off all the caps and rearrange them in Dvorak layout. Once I have the keys set up right, I can once again look at my fingers whild I type. hehe.

    It's hard being so 1337.
Dvorak can also be used as a poor man's encryption. My AlphaSmart Neo allows me easily to change the keyboard layout, so I can keep typing on the airplane when my nosy neighbor is looking. A little perl script fixes things up when I get home.

    Easy, for any natural number k>7, just add k-1 (mod k). Example: 7 + (21-1) (mod 21) = 6.

Moral: Work with your customer to define a problem as clearly and thoroughly as you can before considering solutions. There may be hidden assumptions in the problem statement that you can live without.

Sorry to nitpick, but a probability is a real number in the closed interval [0,1], so P^4 is never greater than P. Maybe you meant something else?
