You would be correct...correct in that you are wrong. The moon is indeed orange during an eclipse, because there's no way all the light can be blocked. The small amount of light that hits the moon gives it a nice orange tint.

It is funny that you had no idea what you were talking about though...

  4. This is hardly news.. on Full Lunar Eclipse for North America · · Score: 1

A lunar eclipse happens multiple times a year and can be seen everywhere it is night during the eclipse. When the moon is orange, you are witnessing a lunar eclipse. It's really not as big of a deal as a solar eclipse because the shadow is big enough for everyone to see instead of it being localized in a certain place.

This is neither flamebait nor troll, please don't moderate down...

Actually, he got moderated down too many times within a period of time. Who could ever grow tired of ruining a karma whore's life? Karma whores are as useless as trolls. Instead of writing comments which they know will piss people off, they write comments that they know the stupid moderators'll agree with. In my mind, they're the same thing, except that trolling at least shows some form of intelligence. Also, I don't think anyone's life is that centered around your own that they'd care whether you were the real author of those messages or not....

It's just proof that moderation simply doesn't work. You see, the moderators don't like the Beatles. Or things other than linux. The Beatles don't happen to be Linux related. Had all the lyrics been replaced with linux related things (and windows hating things) it most certainly would've been given a +4 Funny.

Actually, the fact is, is that you're a moron. The inspiration for the song was a picture that John Lennon's son, Julian I believe, drew as a young child. Julian (?) named the drawing "Lucy in the sky with diamonds." So, in all actuality, the song most likely has nothing to do with LSD.

Yes, i've seen a scan of the drawing online....

Social Darwinism not only isn't one of Darwin's theoreys, it has nothing to do with life or death. It has to do with social standing. It says that those who are members or the lower class are so because they aren't intelligent enough or aren't driven enough to be members of a higher class. Social Darwinism was thought up by a 19th century economist. (If I recall correctly)

So, while your statement does have some truthful points, it's also filled with quite a bit of misinformation

Actually, the thing that's been available for windows for a long time is a technique called anti-aliasing, which is just bluring the edges of something to make it look smoother. The technique M$ is now taking credit for is a sub-pixel technique. It's too complicated to go into detail about, but if you had read the website that was listed, you would already understand.
