  1. fancy lies on MIT Research Shows New Magnetic State That Could Aid Quantum Computing · · Score: 3, Informative

This isn't "another type of magnetism." + and - attracting is + and - attracting. What they're talking about is a different expression of magnetism, typically because the atoms inside are lined up differently.
If I remember correctly, type one is all of em pointing the same way. That makes a field that sucks in other oppositely aligned materials.
Type two has approximately 50% facing one way and 50% the other in a perfectly intermingled way so it has a magnetic field of absolutely nothing in relation to other objects around it.
This third time is all of the atoms constantly changing magnetic direction and never settle into an order ever. They have a tendency to settle into an order so yeah, not easy to make, lol. Although the atoms themselves aren't moving, cuz it's a solid crystal, so this sort of acts like a perpetual motion device for magnetic fields only, not matter. Kinda neat. But it's still + and - attracting so sorry folks, no new force of physics.

Yeah, that's what I want. A gun that I know might not fire if I'm not gripping it completely consistently. My laptop won't even log me in via my fingerprint half the time. If I pull the trigger, I want it to fire 100% of the time.

If I pull the trigger while a bullet is chambered but the mag is out, it's because I pretended to disarm it when someone else had a gun on me and I still want the chambered one to fire. If I REALLY want to disarm it, I'll un-chamber the last round, which takes approx 0.25 seconds in most pistols.

If you need a special indicator to tell you if the gun is loaded because you don't know how to check otherwise, you shouldn't have a gun, because you're an idiot.

What they really need to do is keep guns out of the hands of idiots who don't know what they're doing. That would solve all the problem actually.

I wouldn't touch OCZ before 2012 and tada, they released something actually good. This is the 2nd and 3rd generation controller after buying the maker of the controller and now they have all the bugs worked out. Their earlier models didn't even use it in the first place so it's basically a different drive. Even Symantec finally released a version of Norton in 2012 that was actually good. That's the first time in like a decade! But past history doesn't change current facts and the fact is, OCZ 4 drives are awesome.

A TON of vertex 4's were returned because for the first 6 weeks after newegg got them, they shipped out with firmware that didn't work worth a crap. It would randomly remove the SSD from the BIOS detection test regularly. Now that 1.4 is out, Vertex 4's work absolutely perfectly. They can take 3x the write cycles of a normal drive, run an internal firmware-based TRIM command while the drive is idle, and come with a 3.5" adapter tray. There is no better drive for that price. Out of the 15 or so I've used for builds over the last year, I had no problems. The cheapest I saw in the last 2 weeks was a $90 crucial M4 120GB old model and those aren't even that great. Before the holidays, I could throw a mouse blindly and hit a website with a $65 60GB SSD from a respectable manufacturer and now even those are all above $70. Coincidentally, spinning drives have fallen like they're going off a cliff so the article is actually twice as wrong. 320GB intellipower and 1TB Seagate 524AS models have been $50-60!
