For the record, the Minnesota Wild is an expansion team that we finally got despite a pissy son of a bitch Norm Green's decision to take our hockey team. As their fight song states, the game is in our blood and our blood is in the game. You can't take that away from us.
And yes they aren't the best but they are an expansion team, cut them some slack!

Imagine an accident in one of these.....
Crack, bang, pop!
Senario 1: The high pressure air storage cracks and sends shards of metal hurling through the air decapitating people up to and including a 1/2 mile away.
Scenario 2: Driver sitting in the car is propelled into the air at a high velocity up to 700 feet. Perhaps these should come with parachutes and would be especially fun for free base jumpers.
Scenario 3: Air leak occurs in just one side of the tank forcing the car to rapidly spin around like a top.
So you want to control access. It's quite simple all you do is this.
1. Get a monitoring program. (We use Elron Software's Internet Monitor) This will flag sites containing explict words and you can create your own dictionary and exclusion word as well.
2. Only allow people with a library card to access the computers and assign them a manditory Log on ID to access the system.
3. Have someone go over the logs periodically and see if there is questionable activity, if so contact the owner of the Logon and talk with them as to acceptable use. If it is being abused, disable the account. If it is just research on whatever topic so be it. (this is the only sketchy part because it relys on one person to make a judgement)
Bing thats all you have to do. Works in my company and could work on a larger scale for schools and libraries.
With our monitor tool we have the ability to block sites but quite frankly just watching people is enough to keep them honest.
For the love of god people don't over complicate things.
On the flip side lets say yes I am doing something that matters.
Then say yeah I'm stressed out too. What are you doing about it??
Don't sit around and complain about it take action. We can change our lifestyle and if being unstressed is your idea of a perfect lifestyle then hey go for it. Find a job with low stress like mopping floors or cashiering at a 7 eleven.
Me personally I like a little stress in my life to keep me motivated and the money aint half bad either.
To counter that stress what do I do? Why post on/. of course!
