I know that disabling a few bios options helps with win installs. Try turning off internal and external cache on the CPU (I know this will make your pc a pig, but your using win anyway), along with any other caching/shadowing option. Can you take the disk with Linux/Win32 and boot it from another machine?

I agree, application support for Netware has always been mediocre at best, BUT its file and print services coupled with NDS does make up for some of the lackluster application services.

I dont know of many products that DONT ship with a default password, aside from operating systems. If you dont have enough sense to change ANY default admin account / password, then you deserve to get E-raped by h4X0rz. Every competent admin I know ALWAYS changes this sort of thing, its just in a large list of post install tweaks for any package. Closing X-server ports, removing the 'Everyone--Full Access' rights from NT shares/ directories.... Stuff like that. PLAY FIREARMS MOD FOR HALFLIFE! 12. you make it sound like... on Where are the "Internet" Appliances with Ethernet Cards? · · Score: 1

Rocket science or breaking legs. I agree with the author. Why would it be so much harder to have an ethernet card in the machine? The manufacturer would only have to put in a $10 chip and rj45 connector. The configuration interface aould be the same - youre really only configuring the TCP/IP differently, and that would be the ISP's support problem. you need a new driver for the device...BIG fat hairy deal! youre all just pissed that some run CE and not linux, making it harder 4 u to hack. (xcept TiVo) And what REAL GEEK doesnt have ethernet (in some capacity, thinnet even) at home?
