I keep hearing this, but it doesn't jive with my memory. The 50 or so Power Computing 210's were the least stable Mac's I've ever dealt with. The number of ones that hard the onboard ethernet simply die before 3 years were up were staggering, much less thier other problems.
Bah. Just because a law doesn't cover everything you think it should doesn't make it powerless. If someone puts in a law that increases speeding fines in school zone, but doesn't do anything to drug usage or having firearms, its still useful tool against speeding in school zones.
Because of course all painters should have a masters degree in applied chemistry. Understanding limits to what can and can't be done doesn't mean you have to be especially good at the underlying workings.
No way! You're not using my tax money to fund the soy bean / vegan lobby's attempts to force their lifestyle on our children. The school system should use diet to help our obese children.
Mind you I of course don't actually believe that, but arguments like that are exactly why the "taxpayers" shouldn't get a direct say in the composition of school lunches.
How's it a weak argument? If I'm contractually obligated to only sell a product in a certain market, I'm contractually obligated. I guarantee Apple would love to sell iTunes's AAC file to everyone under the sun.
Bullocks. They're under no obligation to release specs to the OpenBSD folks then they are to port their drivers to OS/2. If someone bought their product, intending to get it to work on an unsupported OS, thats the customers fault.

"to be +or not to be" (quotes and all) give you nothing but appropriate answers on the fist page.
Nope. The 10th Amendment talks about power the "United States" has, not powers Congress has.
To be fair, most evengelist arguments didn't center around Intel. They centered around "Things just working!" and "Microsoft is the Devil!!!!"
Occasionally you get a "AltiVec Rocks!' thrown in, but Intel bashing's been out for years.

I don't have cable; I just watch a fair number of DVDs.

And this dear friend, is why companies love contractors.
I've got 8 firewire drives plugged in now. No major spotlight issues. I'm a bit more likely going to run into bus speed issues.

There's also the Digital Rebel replacement with an under 1 sec start up time.
The 30D is an older, different model than the 300D.
Funny, I'd go the exact opposite. Canon's L glass is amazing, but Nikon makes a better camera.
That said, say something like this over at a photog forum, and its their version of an emacs/vi holy war.
Sure is. The new thing in Tiger is that there's a button for it in the startup disk preference panel. Wee.
I would think it drops something in the open firmware. Hell you can schedule your mac to turn on, so sleep shouldn't be a problem.
States also can have a minimum wage; the employer has to pay whichever is higher.

Just a quick note: in a lot of places it illegal to operate a motor vehicle of any kind with both ears covered, including by headphones.
The reader extensions? They work great, used em for the past 3 years.
We looked into including that feature in forms we use in house, but the cost is insane. Something around 10 per form.

This contest ended. It was 2004. The page linked to lists who won the contest.
Why is this here?
Well, giving someone a paper has ads on it. You can't block these ads automatically.
But not as easy to read on the train to work.
Sort of depends on how you define mentally ill, doesn't it? You could argue anyone that kills 10 people is mentally ill from that action alone.
