And gold is pretty which makes people desire it. Good replacements for gold tend to be as or more expensive than gold. Gold will never become worthless.
I don't know if it makes a good investment, however.
That is a good point. I have a server board (cheap, no IPMI) that can support Celeron and Xeon. In fact I had to buy a cheap Celeron so I could flash the bios to make it support the newer Xeon.
I think the main stopping point for AMD is that Ryzen and Eypc are not pin-compatible. But I feel like they could make a socket that supported both desktop and server pretty easily.
Dude, there isn't some sort of secret hate group code. Everyone knows those douches when they talk about "dem liberuls" or "dose imagrunts". They are not even trying to hide, they wear their status proudly.
The only way Chrome will have IE6 levels of influence is if web developers will have to support its quirks and bugs for a decade, even after new versions of Chrome come out.
It is possible if Google leaves bugs in place in future versions and intentionally starts a process if embrace extend extinguish. It could happen but we are not at IE6 levels of insidiousness.
Interesting, the gall stones were not like being stabbed for me (though I have never been shot or stabbed (or gave birth) to compare. I bet it depends on the shape and size of the stones, so either one could be worse.
My mom did tell me that gallstones were worse than childbirth. Coincidentally when I had them, I was the exact age she was when she had them.
Fortunately modern laparoscopic surgery got rid of the gall bladder with very little pain and only a few days of recovery.
My guess is those wait times are only for triage. 15 minutes for triage is pretty terrible. Once admitted to the ER your wait depends on how urgent your condition is.
Well that was in the top 5 cringiest websites I have visited in the past year.
Unless I am being trolled? I can't be arsed to verify.

The problem is that you get fired for "failing to meet performance expectations" or some other bullshit, not "because I took maternity/sick time".
Yeah, great idea, tie salaries directly to age or number of years at the company. That will totally not backfire at all.
Epyc is basically the server version of Threadripper. Threadripper and Ryzen are desktop only.

Or maybe it's a reflection that nearly every developer out there knows C to some degree and doesn't have to search for help as much?
Maybe it means there are more older C devs that are more likely to go to a book than Stack overflow?
Either way, it's a garbage metric designed to generate lazy clickbait articles, like this one.
Corned beef sandwiches don't work in space? I'm surprised we went back.

I suppose you can fly over Cuba without being too close. If you were 100km away straight up?
Uhh, no, GPS was designed specifically to guide missiles and military aircraft.

What is science? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more.
So a doctor prescribes you a medication, but because you are smarter than that dumb dumb, you don't take it?
Brilliant.
The power icon is always with the 'murika flag.
The republicans were the ones banging the drum about illegal immigrants voting and how it was so horrible.
They are also the ones that support auditless voting machines.

Obviously I am asking because I have no intentions of jumping into that pit of madness.
But your comment and the price insanity makes me think a whole lot of people did.
Who the hell exchanges a bitcoin in person? That sounds like an excellent way to get stabbed.

Totally believable and totally not a scam for the gullible.
Mother Theresa was a good person? Haha, good one.
Sounds like a tough gay guy beat you up once. It's ok to admit your feelings for him here, bro.
Right, right, those weren't real mormons.
