manybooks.net has the majority of PG's etexts available in PDF as well as many formats suitable for reading on your Palm, or other PDA (including zTXT for weasel reader, iSilo, Plucker, PalmDOC, eReader, Rocketbook, etc).
Lots of folks do that already, without using the PG name: Blackmask and Manybooks.net to name a few. Not only HTML, but Plucker, iSilo, Palm Reader, zTXT, etc
Even better are the Firefly drives you can buy at apple's web site: 5 gigs, Firewire, for $99. THAT is a pretty nice floppy - no power cords, nothing but the included firewire cable. I'm considering buying one just so I can take every application I care about with me, wherever I go.
To be honest, it may even take the place of an iPod, if you're just going from desktop to desktop. Spend the left over $300 on some nice noise cancellation headphones....

How about an Open Source re-make? Seems like there's enough spare cycles out there to break codes while interpreting messages from the stars - perhaps folks would be willing to work on a completely CG version of TRON....
Most of the time I read un-embellished 'information' on how to accomplish some task, or about some new software - but it's a pleasure to read something written in a less straight-forward style on a subject I care about. It leads to interesting, unexpected thoughts.
So I'd say keep this guy. Makes good leavening for the Slashdot bread.

Yeah, it's covered in the OS X 10.2.3 update that was released last night (which also covers the recent fetchmail DOS issue).
