i buy a DVD or blu ray all the delivery costs are paid for once i stream Dune or some other movie more than once and the costs of the data center and delivery have to be paid each time in electricity
maybe geeks don't watch movies on TV, but all my movies are watched on a TV using the same game console or an apple TV. and every blu ray player does streaming as well
itunes rentals along with cable tv premium movie rentals are impulse buys. like hey, i want to watch this movie now and it's only $5 and i don't want to wait 2 days for the dvd to arrive
impulse spending is a huge margin money maker. goes back to the crap you buy in the supermarket checkout aisle while waiting
it doesn't work that way every movie is a separate project and investment with the studio being the center of it all. the people making the movie all negotiate different contracts for every movie so all the actors, directors, producers, writers, etc will have to agree on the new system
last i read itunes sells/rents over 300,000 movies and tv shows a day add amazon, vudu, cinemanow and who ever else and there is no way netflix will be able to license rentals for $8 a month.
you also have to figure that like DVD's they will have to limit the number of times a movie can be streamed at the same time so even with a virtual service you may have to wait weeks or months to watch it when you want.
MTBE works better but it poisons the ground water and leaks out of gas station tanks
ethanol is less energetic but cleaner and won't give you cancer
the point is to clean the gasoline so it burns cleaner and causes less real pollution. not the CO2 nonsense, but real pollution like nitrous oxides that cause real health problems
i thought it was to better burn the fuel to you know, get rid of the real pollutants like nitrous oxides and the rest of the bad ones that cause real health problems
NYC all the gas no matter the brand gets brought in by the same pipes but i have noticed differences between some stations. the one i use most often seems to get me the least mpg and i think their pumps aren't calibrated properly. for their favor, and not ethanol
you report something, get a number and most times it won't get fixed or the city workers will just close it out to close the ticket. only time it is useful is if you park at a broken parking meter and put in a request to have it fixes to give yourself an out in case you get a ticket

and i bet there was a clause in the original license saying they can change it any time they want
they licensed their content to be used as the website sees fit with no hope of compensation
wal mart is not a monopoly. not in any market they operate and other stores have similar prices
wal mart is only a monopoly on the cheapest made stuff that is specially made for their stores to be the cheapest possible.
they are using books as a loss leader to bring in customers for other products. but now they want lower wholesale prices as well
just buy it from another store. how hard is that? it's not like amazon is the only seller of books
when cable companies fight for you and there is a blackout the consumers usually rant how the evil cable company is not paying enough
yeah, where everyone is in a few insurance groups and gets the same basic benefits
obamacare has variable pricing based on history, finances, where you live, etc. lots of business rules to properly price the policy

most of netflix streaming is crap that wasn't very popular to begin with

NYC thousands of kids ride the trains to school every day
is the US climate and land conducive to growing sugar cane?

that way google will know what i eat all the time and advertise accordingly
so who uses Bing?
no need for Q&A sites on the internet once google starts one up
my GN3 makes calls just fine. why should i spend another $800 so the carrier can save some money?
unless i get a free phone with no increase in my bill i'll probably keep my GN3 for 3-5 years
think of the old people and how hard it's to create an account on another website
remember how the old people ask you what you put into the name field, the address field, the zip code field
so how does netflix look like at 64kbps? what about 256kbps?
everyone offers unlimited minutes these days
