    antibiotics are given for a short time
    these antiobiotic soaps are used all the time which is what creates the resistant strains
    with normal antibiocs they kill enough bacteria for your body to finish the job

    i've flown the delta shuttle NYC to Boston pre-911 and it was FAST. we would take the 7am to boston and be back by 5 for dinner. arrive 20 minutes before the flight and just get on the plane

    post 9-11 you have to get to the airport early to stand in line, wait around and sit in your chair and wait
    might as well take the train with wifi, better seating, LTE access since its outside and a power outlet by your chair so you can charge your phone

    same travel time

    at some point 97% of geologists believed plate tectonics was false
    at some point 97% of scientists didn't believe that dino's became birds or believed that they were just the slow and lumbering lizards like in 60's movies

    almost every major scientific advance has been made by a few "rogue" scientists advocating rogue theories which at one time have been dismissed by most scientists in the field

    when i was a kid drug patents were 18 years like all the others
    that was changed in the 90's because there is a long time frame from patenting a new drug to actually selling a product. sometimes as much as 10 years.

    NYC we have meters in no parking zones all the time. you have to read the sings.

    in most of manhattan only commercial vehicles are allowed to park on the street and have to pay the meter. private cars will get towed except for sundays

    in some areas you have to be a local resident to park in some places

    foundry is not a high margin business. apple seems to be making all the money on the iphone. how much money would intel have made selling $20 chips?

    you could argue they could have controlled the entire mobile chip market by now, but that is a stretch

    yep, wal mart figured this out long ago

    it has a policy of fighting every lawsuit, no matter how minor. keeps all the scam artists who slip in their stores on purpose away

    same thing happened decades ago with product liability suits. a few companies settled and then everyone started getting sued for all kinds of "defects"

    i wanted to scan the opinion, but there is none. and the decision says nonprecedential.

    not a lawyer but it seems this decision cannot set a legal precedent for future cases

    at the trial the alacatel VP who was sent to testify had no idea which patent newegg was violating or how they were violating it. alcatel just said you must be violating one of our 27,000 patents

    no dumb glasses
    minimum of idiotic talking to your phone or computer and having google tell you when to go to work
