Most ppl here are in the systems depts in our companies. Don't tell me you haven't went out and got the same high end inkjets that the marketing dept has, just so you could gleem the ink carts from them.
I mean come on, the acct depts never ever question the amount of ink that the marketing dept uses...:)
If the foutune 500 companies were smart they would jsut spend a few million and create their own Arbitration company, each pays X amount to keep them operational, they hire their own staff. Guess what, then the companies go to them every single time, because they choose. This way its a guarantee that they will always win.
They can even save money by sending 'Bob' from the mail room not a lawyer, because no matter what they will always win.
Perhaps the most important problem is that even if the delays are the INS's fault (as they usually are), the applicants are
not protected from deportation. If the INS sits on someone's application for two years and their current visa expires, that
person is subject to deportation.
Maybe we should consider H1B visa's for INS workers? Looks like they could use real tech help. I know if my projects were years late... I would be asking "would you like fries with that?"
