You missunderstand me. If I own a CD it is fair use to mpeg a track for my own personal enyoyment, but it must also be fair use to download it from the net since the outcome is the same: I end up with a copy of music I have bougth.
If i own a CD and get a mpeg copy of a song on that CD from napster or whatever it would be fair use. It's just as if I would get a tape from a friend with a recording of the CD
Not to mention all thet is left stranded

A couple of adventurers here in sweden is trying to ski to the north pole and they are abadoned up in the arctic ice when iridium threw in the towel. Well they got some radio backup systems but kinda abandoned.
It is quite useful when discussing a topic online to pretend to be a certain gender with a certain opinion. If you for example discusses in a anti-porno forum you can post like: "I would rather be in a porno movie than flipp burgers at McDonalds/Tracy" and watch the reactions.
Is it alowed to take the implementation of their patented "Type enforcment" from the source and put it in my some other GPL:ed program or would thar be a violation of their patent? What about if someone sold the program and sold support for it?
I have always wondered how the biology was initiated so the evolution could start, what made those first molecules to interact and create "life". Perhaps the theory in the article is correct that life is just a consequence of thermodynamics.

A couple of years back a buddy of mine had a disk crash so while he waited for the new disk to arrive he booted on a floppy and mounted his file systems over the net. So if you could boot from flash (or put ducht tape over the disk drive or something:-) couldn't you do someting similar with an old PC without too much hassle?
