    Communication - What they want you to hear, read, and see.

    Information - What information they can collect on you.

    That was my first thought also.

    But, upon further review, the courts can always delay until it's too late. If fact, considering recent events (SCO, MS/DOJ) I'd says the odds are good for delay.

    I doubt it is stateful packet inspection.

    You don't normally want routers to be doing that too much due to overhead. More likely, this will be some bullshit idea that makes the machine attempted to obtain an IP address provide some type of cookie-like mechanism or some type of challenge-response handshake to indicate to the router that IP W.X.Y.Z has been Ok-ed.

    It won't solve the problem.

    More likely, this is a trial ballon to judge level of opposition to the entire idea. Personally, it fucking sucks to me. This is easily another way for the PTB to spy on you. It would be slippery slope to the point that you won't be able to get on the Internet unless you have Windows and have downloaded the Spyware^W AV software.

    This entire concept needs to be stopped!!!!

    I did. My point was that there were obvious clues that it was a scam from the e-mail (the typos), but obviously the level of stupidity is too high these days.

    No. You don't want it laughed out of court.

    You want this to be properly resolved. We don't need any more of the bullshit coming from the courts where it's decided that the case is not strong enough to set a precedent, so it's dropped instead of getting resolved. Then they wait until another situation comes up that is more favorable. The future of freedom can not wait.

    It's not really the space per say. But unless you have a decently large writeable medium, why would you be compiling anything? Where are you going to save your binary?

    Unless you are using Knoppix (for example) for rescue purposes, you don't really need all of the developer tools.

    BTW, the Knoppix CD actually holds nearly 2GB of data compressed to near 700MB.

    2.) Turn one layer 45 degrees.
    3.) Pop out one of the four middle edge cubes on that layer (it has only two colours - possibly the same).
    4.) Disassemble IP.
    5.) Profit!

    I agree. The 4x4 cube is harder. The 5x5 cube can be solved as just a variant of the 3x3 cube.
