Well microsoft really did forbid its OEMS from shipping linux till the trial. They now are forbidden from including such things in their contacts, but they still do pull a lot of muscle around trying to convense OEMS not to ship anything but standard windows. But even dell is starting to ship linux system, though not dual boot systems, but I'd be willing to bet that is more of the support headache rather than anything.
So ultimatly when the person who is the final winner at 100,000,000 it will be the entry marked 100,000,000 but not nessessarly the 100,000,000th song. That kinda sucks, as they can't legally offer anything cool to the true 100,000,000th song.
Hubble, the vast array of communication satallites, Hubble, most of the stuff we've sent out of our orbin (various probes, possibly pathfinder, spirit, etc), Oh yea did I mention Hubble.
So they are going to count "Tell a Friend" as a song downloaded, won't that kinda screw up the count. 100,000,000 million songs downloaded, or Told to Friends. Isn't quite the same.
Probably sends you back a code like the pepsi free itunes codes, BUT you win this sound clip that they are giving away and don't care about or something like that.
They havn't published the offical rules yet, but they will probably allow you to send a self addressed stamped envelope which when you get it will be good for 1 pretend itunes purchase. Legally they have to do this in most states, though your chances of winning are greatly reduced when you have to send an envelope for each single purchase, especially funny considering it has to be self stamped 37 cents each way = 74 cents to get a fake itunes purchase, no music included, HAHA.
Gas prices havn't personally effected me, but I know it increases the cost of shipping items, and other services where gas is often used. These prices are passed onto you in higher cost for other goods, our economy is definatly effected by gas prices. So don't assume a gas price only effects you at the pump.
Actualy you are going to pay $120 for the cheapest IDE 200GB harddrive, and $220 for the cheapest USB version. (prices on mwave, maybe you can find cheaper) Assuming we went with the ide version that is $0.60/GB A blue-ray disk holding 40GB probably cost someone around 10 dollars is $0.25/GB though of course those are just estimate figures, and it will probably be a little while before the disk are under $20 dollars, but I can definatly see the savings over time if a lot of backups are made.
It depends upon the speed in which your finger is approaching the blade of course, in 5ms you can't put much flesh into the blade, either way, it'll be the difference between having your finger completly cut off or only cut.
I think his argument was more that as you increase fuel economy, people will drive more. But that is probably slightly true, as the UK has more public transportation because gas is so expensive. But here in the US when prices doubled driving didn't half. So I'm guessing when the cost of gas (or atleast the cost per mile of gas) goes down driving won't significantly increase, but it may some.
Yes, but that was an FCC decision, a regulation per say. This is a court decision. If the FCC suddenly said one day ok, people have to be able to take their IPs with them. ISPs would be pissed, but they'd probably all move to IP6 where its much more possible. So that could be a good thing. But this is regulation through courts, not very good as it really hasn't been publically debated and considered.
I think what he meant was that adblock became incompatible as of 0.9 and could not be installed. Obviously it is never going to be included by defualt, but the guy was hoping it would. But either way its the maintainers of AdBlock to update not firefox. Expecting a non 1.0 software to keep api compatibility serious reduced its ability to evolve. Heck even mozilla has broken some 1.0 compatibility, they just maintained the 1.0 branch also for people who want compatibility but new security fixes.
Well they refused to publish it, but then again, I'm pretty sure all movie companies have descretion of what mpovies they ublish. Hell if I owned one, I sure wouldn't publish F 9/11. But I don't think the exactly tried to keep it from being published elsewhere did they?
I know I shouldn't reply to something so off topic, but!. People join terror organizations because they want freedom. These organizations are ultimatly controlled by people who want power not freedom, so they brainwash their members to commit acts of terror against freedom.
How is stating that anthrax has been used in bioterrorism propaganda. It really did happen you know.
terrorism is a thing that GWB scares us about to justify killing middle easterners and this will put things in space
So are you seriously suggesting there really are no terrorist.

Hmm, blue-ray.. in july.. hmm yummy... hmm don't know why HD-DVD is even being released, whats the point.
Sounds to me more like people who so badly want to be high paid programmers are willing to take an excessivly stressful job.

Your right thanks, I swear I heard someone spouting off about portable addresses with IP6, but guess they were wrong too. Thanks.

Trust me, the Arizona lawyers did hold out for a few million. In their pocket.
Because they think they are going to fight for freedom, also realize most of these people join young. Anyways its basically like a cult.

Well the Celeron M's are pretty good, but really they are a totally different product, just witht he Celeron name for some reason.
