No your not, your paying 1/2 of that in tax, your gas is not more expensive than in the US, actually less so in terms of buying capacity now that the dollar has fallen. $3 gas would still cost $6 there.
As a web programmer I'd say its that managers can't stop demanding new features. I spent half my time trying to talk people out of features my job would be so much easier if I just relented....
A chip will generally have a constant drift. Say your 1Hz clock has a drift, you can fix the drift but previously you might have been a little more than a second after fixing it you were a little less than a second because the second actually landed down in the mid-point between the 1Hz. Its a problem of repeatable halfing the distance to the error, sure you'll never technically get there but at 4.5Ghz you can get much much closer.
Is it not true though that our enemies IEDs and such are specificially designed to maim. And do you really think gulf war/gulf war II syndrome isn't real?
Yep, but exactly how do you do input validation on something like this. The best thing they could do would recreate a version of the Cassini EXACTLY on the ground with all known faults in its sensors and test all software on that. And you know what, mistakes would still happen, because its FAR away, and there is no way to test the real Cassini's sensors till after its already passed what it was supposed to sense.
It all comes down to recruitment and training. There a thousands of brilliant computer geeks out there in small towns and other non tech hotspots looking for good jobs who simply need a bit of training to get them on level for the exact job requirements you need. (noone can be expected to keep up with all programming languages for instance). I know many bright minds who are simply in rut jobs with little time to train themselves and few interested job prospects because they don't have the right cert. (Ok, I'm talking about myself here, but you get my point -grin- )
Though it does have the full internet, he's not blocking the internet, which has TONS of porn. He's just not going to allow porn software installed, which I guess means no strip poker, etc. Damn. Wonder if I can get cartoon porn through them:/
Also they showed that if you have the SDK you can upload an app through your computer for testing without going through the app store. So theoretically even unapproved applications could be distributed privately by source and uploaded to the iPhone. You could then have a program like the installer.app that acts as a layer for these types of programs.
Yea I misspoke. From the shelves of blue-ray disc I've seen at Best-Buy Sony Studios seems to be 1/4 or less of them. Thats a good chunk for sure, but they are pushing to be the standard because there is a potential for more money in licensing than in their own titles.
Shrugs exit polls from Texas showing Republicans voting for Obama by a small margin. http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/epolls/#TXDEM Whats interesting is the biggest group to vote for Clinton was Democrat Latinos 70% voted for Clinton. I guess they are worried Obama is going to close the border or something???
Sony is making tons of money off the licensing from blue-ray, Sony brand movies are few and far between. One could definately forsee in the near future Sony licensing some type of music version of blue-ray (where the disc are smaller and cheaper because even the FLAC versions of your songs probably won't need 40GB) that will play in blue-ray players as well as other high end equipment. Shrugs, maybe maybe not.
Watch it, its mainly about fab labs they set up in 3rd world countries where people are inventing brand new things on their own. Its not about mass production is about unlimited customization.
Remember digital copying ensues no cost. So yes, if I Joe Schmo copy something of yours of which I had never intended to resell or pay for in the first place I've cost you nothing. If I do intend to resell it you have every right to a percentage of the profit. Just as me looking at your patent and tinkering in my workshop is perfectly legal till I try to sell your product.//I can't wait till physical object copying is commonplace, its gonna get really interesting then.
$462 is keyboard with only one OLED key (the rest can be upgraded later as the contacts are there in the $400 keyboard for all keys) the $1500 buys you a full keyboard with 101 or whatever OLED keys
As I said, those results from Maine are an entrance straw poll. They aren't official by no means. Non binding local delegates were elected who will meet in may to elect state delegates. How it actually turned out noone knows, but the current estimate is about 35% of delegates were supporters of Paul, with 1/4 of the State still unknown.
:) You missed the second part, Many people are claiming to have registered in November and that their paperwork never got entered into the computer or that their registration date was set as the date it got entered into the computer not the date the paperwork was turned in. Technically they had till Nov 30th to turn in paperwork, many of these were not entered into the computer till Jan some were never entered. The date put on the electronic record was the date of computer entry. Paul has filed a complaint to obtain the paper copy of these registration dates to determine actual dates. This was a caucus not a primary, who is going to miss registration then hang out for 2 hours in a caucus to vote when they can't actually vote?? In some districts like district 1, there was a turnout of about 600 people, and 160 provisional ballots, 60 provisional ballots were counted.

How bout XAMPP on virtual server. You can turn it on and off at will easily and control its percentage of CPU usage.

I remember paying $75 for a domain back in 1997.
A fact about something we can never physically see? Sure...

One counter started at Zero, the other at One?
If thats true that shows the machine was tested ZERO times.

You can't just magic up experienced workers for this sort of task.
No, but I can buy 10,000 experience points real cheap on ebay.
Java isn't exactly dead. But either way this slams the door on ALL web applications and applets that don't run on the existing iPhone browser.

Well I mean won, as he won ballots cast. Not won as in actually won after rigging.
