Well accually look at what they have patented
and the patents for them. Its obvious what they patent accually was a real world device, (which played music samples from an online database to a kiosk at music stores) and they are claiming that the internet version is a violation of their patent. Kinda a switch accually. Though their real world device, is patentable, even by old patent rules, it is a bit silly, and obvious. But I would be willing to say that their patent is valid, (though in general I hate patents on simple inventions in a time of such quick techlogical change) the suit is bogus.

1 German man thought it was ok to kill off all the jew (ok maby more than 1), but that 1 man was very powerful and had an ability to lead and influence people. He told people what their morals should be, and people followed out of fear or being killed themselves.

Many of the more free thinking southerners were opposed to slavery, but sadly as time went on childered were taught that it was ok, and the though of blacks being in slaves became breed into the southern culture as the norm.

These two instances are completly different that what you are arguing against where you have many completly free thinking individuals, and many artist themselves in support of programs like Napster.

Now the interesting concepts come into play when there is one radio station me, and my friend is the only listener. Am I essentially copying straight over the internet? Yes. Does this kind of broadcast encourage my one listener to buy the song for themselves, No. Is it legal for my friend to record that stream to listen to it later, No. They can record it to analog audio tape, assuming the law treats internet same as FM, which is doesn't yet. So whats the solution, limit the sound quality allowed? No, assume the bands can survive on just selling T-shirts and hats, No. Honestly there is no good answer to these kinds of questions. But interestingly enough true competition generally seems to figure out a way to answer these questions without bringing them to court. So, we will just have to wait and see.

Accually the war wasn't a moral crusade untill it was over, the war really had absolutly nothing to do with slavery, but the nice thing about a war is you can made the surendering side do just about anything you want.

The real problem with Jim Crow Laws was that the North raped, robbed, and pilliaged the South, taking ALL THEY COULD in the Great Stealing

I honestly have no idea what your talking about so I'm not going to comment

The South has NEVER RECOVERED! Many down in the South lost all and their families NEVER recovered (black and white).

Tension between the races have yet to recover, but maby its just me, but the south seems to be doing just fine, now that we are starting to get over our hangups about eachother.

Corporations have ALWAYS wanted more power. Now they are getting it (at our expense).
